Never mind, figured it out. Jeff's a good guy, tell him I said hello.

I was wondering if you knew him,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

5602
Your the guy who would know too, had me going for a sec!

5603
He came recommended by a local diesel shop. Reviews looked good.

Has more axles in there than many yards.

Quoted $400, plus fluids.

Axles and a lift?

5605
Dropped off the Dax at River City Diff in Rancho Cordova this am. Said he will have it done tomorrow.

Called to ask for a pic of it when he gets things setup and a pattern pic. He is already working on it, said he used to work for Randys.

Here’s another thought, maybe Don should drive within limits of suspension.

Oh, I think the suspension will handle it just fine. Even with deep mulch beds.

I also think the airbags are a moot point with as little that will transfer unless it a LONG turn and the sway bar helps that too.

Nate, we are the BIGGER versions,,,,,

Did you buy those gussets? Sure are clean. Thinking about continuing the skid all the way to the front bumper?

Come on guys, 8K, 6 inch lift, monster bumpers, lots of drag up top and Dons driving. What could go wrong?

Will have to look into the clutch or weights. Way to jerky getting it to move a little around here. I'll inspect the belt and drive surface too.

Few more pics not on the trailer. Oil looks really good but will change anyway.

Some of the tires these guys go with it crazy. I can see a 1-2 lift and tires later. 14s rims would be great and run regular mud tires.

You need PCV, just cut or run hoses. Some companies make bolt on hose fittings.

Delete or block for sure. Same for the PCV. Soot and oil are not the intakes friend!

Not that it matters much, but our wells down her run 30-34/foot. I asked my neighbor who is in the pump business.

I'll take it!!

Actually got the Carb legal PPE manifolds. Now going to NV may not need em with the EGR pipe.

5618
A bad belt will surely cause it in one of those,  plus the older ones vibrate bad when they are new. ..both pistons travel together instead of opposing. Weird.

I saw that and though about the belt. Seems you can change weights in the clutch too for diff response. It seems a little loose right now.

Yep, pistons travel side by side, but fire opposite and it has a big balance shaft.

That should hold back dirt and cars.

5623
To finish this up I got a 2008 Polaris Ranger 700 XP.

Pretty good shape for 11 years old. Everything works but the brake lights.

Good power, but vibrates more than I like.

Looking for a hard top even though the soft top is OK for now.

Windshield maybe, coated poly is probably the best bet for price and safety.

Tires good, maybe upgrade when they need it to 27/28's 14's.

Think the filter was $65, not terrible. Oil was $120 for 5gal though (need 11) where I can get name brand for $50.

Not sure about casing yet but so far all are around the same price. My first thing is to get a road and pad cleared. I am "acquiring" things and need to get up out of here. Got a line on some containers for a good price local, but no where to put them.

Dmax is getting regeared this week to 4.56. Level ground was not bad but pulling the mountains the gearing really shows. That will put me back another week as I have to break them in.

Probably buy an auger. TSC has em for a good price.

Love to get a dowser up there. Bad part is how deep I may have to drill. Could make an extension I guess.

I got mine from optic planet for well under 2K, but it is just gen 2+. Like looking at a old black/white TV.

Ilum are great, but think animals can see them. I know they say no, but something spooks em.

Just got an ATN scope to, great sale for under $500. Need to do the upgrades now.

That wasn't directed at you JR. But yes,  that would be a gift for sure.

I knew that, but it would still be great!

I found a couple spots last time that looked promising for some water. IE, larger shrubs with much more ground growth than other spots.

WHAT??  You can only dig 18ft??? And find water???

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I have heard that many times, maybe the same video.

If I can find someone who will drill for $30 a foot, that would be great! I had been reading up and the national average is $20-25, how do I get $50?

Understand that alkali is an issue already in some areas. Not much on the surface to do anything.

More I see videos and websites, the more I like DIY solar pumps.

All the prices were per foot, 43-50. One talked about "mobilization fee" and they are local. Another said he need a 60x60 pad, what if I don't build there?

Many questions still and permits are almost $1500. Then cap fees. Couple talked about switching, some didn't like it.

Lots of companies out there with solar kits. Not sure about DIY on that since I have never done it. Most want a "whole" system with the pump, pressure wiring and all thrown in to around 10k which sounds high.

Drilling at the low spot where the runoff is straight down the turn around a few hundred feet is where one want to drill. Then I could run a pipe up the hill to the tank above the build site filling the 2500 tank and giving me pressure.

Hopefully enough for some vegetation around the house and a small pond.

Got a quote for 22.5 for just the hole. Reasonable. Plan is a low well, 2500 tank on high ground with solar pump.

Made a double round trip to Reno, bought a side by side. Uhaul said they had a 1 way trailer until I got there. Then their 5x8 trailer is just 4ft 5in wide???? They measure the wheels too,,,,,,,,,,,

Was going to get out to the land at night to check it out, never made it. Got an address coming, of course via mail? Fuel is $.60 cheaper up there, got 15.8mpg.

Kabota at the dealer, tell me it needs the leaking hub rebuilt, $1100? Want another $500 for changing the Hyd fluid and filter, no thanks I will do that.

Kub dealer in Reno says just the hub seals probably is bad, 2-3 hours.

Getting estimates for the well, 20-30K for just the hole.

Pretty clean little machine, stock. Probably just do a muffler, window and get it wrapped.

Great work so far,you won't hurt those hubs.

Bet they didn't get the singing from you, I can't sing either.

Think I going to put a CV on my front shaft, no spacer. They don't drive over 45 too.

Isn't that a lot  of grease on those breaks? Get warm and drip?

Waiting for an address now. Even though I am here, its a couple day process via mail.

Made some calls about wells.30k just for hole and another 5 to 10 punp.3-600 deep, 45+ a foot.

5649
Well, getting ready for the lift and doing more towing now so the regear is coming up next week.

Got a Yukon Dura Grip from Tater yesterday. Taking it up to Sac next week to have the rear done. Just cant afford to be down with this more than a couple days.

4.56 should work better and allow 6th gear use again.
