Just realized the diesel sub has a turbo, so a little more power is there until it comes out.
I took the side window of the 91 to fix a little rust bubble. Fairly easy with suction cups on these ol things. Found a little more rust than I was hoping for along the seam. Nut is will get treated from the inside so should be GTG.
Going to cut open an old hub for the abs ring. They run around $50 each so a little cutting could net some return.

Another update, end goal is the same, just a different format, another sub.
I like what I have but getting it registered as a diesel in this state will be a lot of work. I have bee watching CL for months now in case a diesel sub came along that someone didn't want 5K for, was straight and close to me. So I found a couple the last week and this one sorta jumped out, then he dropped the price.
Plus by starting with a diesel reg, no smog, EVER. Plus it has hydro brakes and is supposed to be a rust free cal truck. Mine had a few spots I was not happy with but could be overcome. Heck guys drop gassers back in em but not may plan.
Going to a diff sub will cost me nothing but time. In fact I should make $$ on the deal in the long run, but thats for another post,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Ryan got it!! They are not junk, not even as bad as the ford 6.0, just not a powerhouse.
Yep, its solves many conversion issues, it is still a cali truck.
More updates in the Spartan thread tomorrow when I got see it. Probably not bringing it home for a few days though as I need to figure a ride and check the tires good.

That cutter would save some man hours for sure (maybe a few chainsaws to). Now you just need a grinder for the stumps if you really plan to clear the land.
Maybe when you cut, you could add a rack to it so the trees can't fall on you?
Recon a hicking route? Boy Scouts don't do that!

I just love all the pics of the property, wall/pond is coming right along. Looks like you have a boat ramp to! You just going to contour the drains so they are still functional but you don't fall into them when you walk by?
Just cost me $150 to fill up the dmax. Was getting low, light even came on (5-10gal left) and I don't normally go that low.

I watch fail videos all the time. Not just those but all kinds, great watching Darwin at work.
I see in some shops they use the drive on, then lift off that. Whats the use, you have to work around it all time, but you have a table!

Ill take an S3, bet Don wants a ranger.
Miss the innocent times with the kids. Now it is life lessons and homework, with a camping trip here and there.
Mom ended up at the ER today. Didn't look good yesterday and had me worried, a lot. Ends up she is dehydrated and not eating again, but should be out later today.

Well, had a guy come up from San Jose and paid full price for it. Told him I was not flexible on the price, and he still came up.
Still had to do the hubs, front studs and rebuild the dash. Found it had a small radiator leak is the worst part.
Now I have $$$ to get springs for the Dmax.
Bye, Bye,,,,,,,,,,,,

Depending on what search engine you use it does show up. I have a hit from Penn right now. I like searchtempest, plus is was on pirate which I need to repost.
Someone coming over today to look at it from the bay area. Got the back together and cleaned out. Doing the front now. The bozo I got this from cut air ducts out for the stereo.

The tank was from 1A Auto and would use them again. Took 3 days to get the tank via amazon from Kansas.
Used #30 felt for the padding and adding the tank opening is a no brainer. Made it so easy to hook up, should be standard! The motorcycle jack made it easier too once the neck was in.
Going to seal it up with a little silicon and call it a day.

Had a little lifter noise at first, but after 14 years I wasn't surprised. I can hear it, any others?
Ran through the gears and it seems to grab good, but haven't actually driven it.
Love to have it gone by the end of the week.
