don, can you give me a break down of how those ser# are interpreted please?
first two digits are the year of manufacturer...91 = 1991.

Note that everytime an airframe is re-manufacturered, the fuselage is zero-timed and starts with a new number

This 1991 aircraft was likely a 1966, or 1967 B or C model Chinook before and remanufactured into a D model in 91.

The last 5 are the sequence number. I believe the first two digits of the sequence number stands for a model run, such as these numbers being a "D" model...Late build.

Then the last three digits are the actual build sequence of this airframe. This would have been the 235th "D" model Chinook built or rebuilt in Philadelphia at the Boeing/Vertol plant

I thought they could pump out the R22 & pump back in the new stuff?
I think they can, however the R34 is no where as efficient as the Freon, so your sustems either need different parts or they operate at substantial lower efficiency

two-three-five...??

Possibly an old 101st bird. They had one burn up before that, and got in a 91 or maybe a 92 bird to replace. A one-off build ok'd by congress. Is this that bird, I wonder???

The guard up in Maryland flew a company of them, I never saw nor set foot on those, so I don't know those tail numbers. I have seen most of the other 400+ hooks in the inventory...

I had a leak in one of my heat pumps, and had to buy 4 pounds of R22 at over $400

I'm looking to replace both systems, as my primary residence has two big heat pumps

Can anyone say ouch!

My wife has had some struggles with depression and anxiety in the past.  The first time was about 7 or 8 years ago.  With the help of some counseling she was able to get over it for the most part.  Then about 3 years ago the anxiety came back.  At the time I was having some fairly major health issues which resulted in a few weeks in the hospital and a couple months of recovery time.  It was just all to much for her.  Again she was able to talk to somebody and had been doing really well for the last couple of years.

Recently she has been having a lot of anxiety again.  I don't think it is truly post-partum depression but it is focused around some of the struggles with caring for out little girl.  She has sought out some counseling again but she doesn't feel that the person she is talking to is the right person though so she is trying to find somebody else.  She is putting herself through a lot between the anxiety she feels when my daughter is being difficult to the extreme guilt she feels afterwards.  On days where she is feeling overly stressed/ anxious she will send me a note asking for me to pray for her that day.  If you all might join in it would be appreciated.
You can fix this yourself!

Anxiety and depression are spirits

You control spirits through the authority God gave us through Jesus.

Go get this book and read it quick:

https://www.christianbook.com/the-believers-authority-kenneth-hagin/9780892764068/pd/64061?dv=%7Bdevice%7D&en=google&event=SHOP&kw=christian-living-0-20%7C64061&p=1179710&gclid=CKG3l-OEsdMCFciKswodcSoBLA

Once you get what it says, simply apply the authority you already have over your wife AND BELIEVE IT!

Do that and her problem will be gone

Don, You must have the worlds most understanding wife... Does she have to park out of the street now? Your left two garage stalls are taken by the project not to be named, now the right stalls taken by all manner of equipment and motorcycles. Then the drive full of trailers and the big black thing.. :) Where does GJ go?

I know... it's only temporary except perhaps the two left stalls.
Make no mistake my friend...When the LOTH (Lady of the house) comes home in the GJ, my stuff gets moved rather quickly to make space!

But yea, it's just tempo storage enroute to the farm.

This is C-Max's first kill

These scuff marks is where a family member's Honda Prelude (I think its a prelude) gave up it's tail light, rear bumper and quarter panel. I only have the scuff marks but my poor nefew's car is all ganked up. He backed into my truck on Easter...

You filing a claim on his insurance??

Definition of insult to injury
Naw.

He just earned his Phd a few months ago and finally at work. He doesn't need the financial hassle. Besides, I really have no damage, just an added layer of protection smeared on!

18226
I'm looking into mills and found some U built it kits with HD looking stuff and 30 inch throat.  Not cheap but really heavy stuff.  I am keenly interested in:

Accuracy of the adjustments for board thickness
Engine power to production speed value
lubrication and tensioning of the blade.
General durability
You're on it

Those are key questions to be sure

Call the Woodland Mills folks. They will talk a bunch about power required.

I was confused by so many others bolting on 19-25HP and asked them about it.

They said they were cutting fine with around 10HP, but with so many people asking for a bigger engine they bolted on the 14HP Kohler that's on my mill. Now I have cut all of one little log, but it went through the thickest part of that log like it wasn't there. I could have pushed the saw through it quick if I wanted to

by the way. that's old school way of adding lights.  Kinda like that idea compared to the silly kids with their 86 inch light bars
Copy that

I like the old school way better. Light bars have their place, so an integrated approach using several different technologies probably ensures at least one light survives

That is a lot of light!! Do the bumper lights work?

Not sure if you covered it but what is the big puck on the (synthetic?) winch rope?
Yes, the four Warn fog lights in the bumper work, but don't put out very much light

Thew rubber bobbin is a winch line saver. It keeps you from breaking the line over too great of an angle, thus protecting it

I was shocked at the price of the quick hitch at the JD store...$379!!!!!!!!!

On line I found a bunch of them from $145 up to around $250

Then I noticed the harbor freight hitch looked approximately the same as the others and it retails for $99.

I went there, 20% coupon in hand and walked out the door with the thing for $84

It seems OK for lightweight cat 1 stuff. It's not as robust as the JD offering to be sure, but I think it will work out fine

Here it is shown hefting about 1,000 pounds

I have been using the little tractor some. I have realized the maximum potential of the front bucket on a bunch of occasions. I will have to pay attention to what I am trying to lift. A thousand pounds is not all that much.

I picked up a harbor freight quick attach 3-point mount, since I'm probably going to switch off some varied tools out back

18250
I believe this should pretty much conclude this thread except for some future reports on durability and quality and so forth. From now on this saw will be seen adding visibly to the growth of the farmstead
