Sold the trailer on Sat, and bought a boat on Sunday. '95 Larson 20ft bowrider w/ a 4.3L Mercruiser w/ radiator and EZ load single axle trailer. Custom Seahawks interior got my attention, but the outdrive is new, all new stainless braided hydraulics, most of the electrical has been updated, new bilge, pretty new tonneau cover and only 240hrs.
edit: screen shot has facebook crud on it, but I can't seem to crop it. oh well.
did somebody PUKE seachicken all over that thing tate......................

And here is a pic of just how clean/efficient this thing burns. This was after the 4 hr initial burn/seasoning at 450deg.

Here yah go sam, i warn you about going down the fatty hole......you will be addicted.....charles can you agree? http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51631Also sam, these pellet cookers run off about 1.5 - 2 kw electricity Charles, hopefully this will help: So yesterday when i was doing the initial burn in at 450, i noticed that temps right at the grate were spot on, and up on the middle shelf it was about 25 deg hotter. The chamber to the right showed about 50 deg less and i saw 150 deg less in the upper chamber. Now, that was with everything wide open. I will document the temp swings tomorrow when i do the first fatty 's. I will do one in the main and one in the right lower chamber.

so I did not get the traditional inaugural fatty cooked today, but I did get the initial spray and burn in.
the temps are pretty even in the main chamber, and about the same in the other 2 cabinets. I did test this with about 8 oven thermometers through out.
I have a couple funerals to attend tomorrow, so it will have to be Friday or Saturday when I get the traditional inaugural fatty run through it.

so as I was assembling everything, here is what I observed.
1. the metal is not paper thin, but then again its not 1/4 steel
2. everything went together pretty easy
3. clear and concise instructions with pretty decent pics
4. for something made in Canada its pretty decent
oh and here is the bad news about these units!
I called to order the front shelf and the cover and was told that they do not even have them in stock yet and I cant pre-order them until they get them in stock.
the covers are supposed to be in by end of may/beg of june, and the front shelf is not supposed to be in until aug..............
not sure about that, but then again the young guy I was talking to didn't not know what he was talking about and said that I had to wait a minute while he looked it up.........SMFH
the covers are supposed to be around $80 and the front shelf is supposed to be around $100

here are a few pics with different size hotel pans.
you could get 2 shallow pans on the bottom rack in the main chamber, with use of 1 or 2 shelves on top of them. depending on the size pan, you could get a few of them in the vertical cabinet.

well folks, I had to update the pellet cooker!
this is the Louisiana Grills Champion series pellet grill/smoker.
I believe they are only available from Costco right now (they are Canadian made, but at least its still north American.....)
there was probably 100+ lbs of packaging there.

First day back at work after an eye problem. Still hurting and suffering from a headache because of it. However, I just had my spirits lifted. Found this on line and plan to order as soon as they are back in stock..

Nate, do you cover the jars with a towel after the come out of the canner so they don't cool too fast and break a jar
I do not, just take them out and place them apart so they can cool, wipe clean, label and store.

had a little storm blow thru here Thursday night...(kind of a freak thing) got a couple branches on the ground and lost power for like 10-12 hours.
found this at lowes for like $500 and snatched it right up. I have a bit of $$$ tied up in 2 deep freezers, and I cant let that stuff go bad for a measly little power outage.

saturday was just south of moclips and sunday was just out from ocean city. Those 2 areas were deemed good by the DNR for low levels of algae or whatever. now long beach is/was a different story, i believe their levels were so high that they had to shut their beaches down until monday i think, i also saw on the states clam page that they raised long beaches limit to 25 from 15......
