ill give it 1 day!  I have a feeling that don will utilize it in a manner in which it was not designed for to find out where the weak points of it are.

Don may have retired as a warrant occifer, but he started out as a private, and I think he still has a bit of that youngin in him still just clawing to get out every once in a while........;D

so the gun was originally $500 when I ordered it, and I used the refund from that along with a $60 gift card that I had and only had to fork over $50 some dollars for the $229 case.

I am having to keep things a bit mobile right now, so that is why I have the 2 cases and not a safe yet.

LCDR Leroy C. Baleme, USN, Ret., passed away peacefully and comfortably late this evening in Tacoma Washington.

https://www.facebook.com/lbaleme/posts/10209145299563414

It is with a very heavy heart that my brother Mark and I inform you that after 90 wonderful and fulfilling years of life, our father, LCDR Leroy C. Baleme, USN, Ret., passed away peacefully and comfortably late this evening in Tacoma Washington.

Dad lived a fulfilling and productive life not only growing up around an extensive Baleme family and farms in the northern San Joaquin Valley, he also served 24 years honorably in the US Navy from 1943 to 1967, with active overseas service during WWII, Korea, and Viet Nam as both a Sailor and a nuclear weapons Naval Officer.

Following his service, Dad owned his own air conditioning and heating division that served the greater San Diego counties. He retired following a successful career for National Steel and Shipbuilding Co in San Diego as a Quality Assurance/Quality Control inspector in the early 1980's.

Dad lived out the majority of his comfortable retirement years in Depoe Bay Oregon with our recently deceased step-mother Shirley.

Dad loved racing cars, Classical music, and both leisure sailing and racing. Dad is survived by his brother Duane Baleme, and sister Beverly Carey of Fresno California, and his two sons Lee of Tacoma Washington and Mark of Portland Oregon.

Tires, Wheels, and Suspension / Re: Lets play a game!
« on: August 04, 2016, 09:38:41 AM »
so yesterday I went to les schwab to get a tire rotation, and I asked that when they got the tire off if I could take a look at what was going on in the drivers side wheel well.  well that was the first thing that I saw, and yes ken hit the nail on the head.  it is the cam pin on the rear attachment.  then to top all of that off, my suspicions were confirmed as to the wearing out of the rest of the components.

so as I was going back thru my records, it has litteraly been 3 years since I put all new stuff on the front.  well unfortunately I cant find the receipt from when I bought the whole upper control arms.  So now I am at the point of complete front end work again as well as a complete brake job front and rear.  as far as the brakes go, I am almost positive that it has been close to 7+ years since I did a complete brake job (I think that's pretty good?).

so I will take a few days and figure out what direction I will be going in as I have had some MAJOR life situations (of the negative flavor) happen in the last 2-3 weeks.

some smoked cabbage turned into slaw with a little grilled chicken on the side.

here is the recipe for the sauce:
One head chopped cabbage - no other vegies!
1/2 cup vinegar
6 tbs sugar
6 tbs EVOO
2 1/2 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp celery seed
1 tsp dried celery
1 tbs hot sauce to taste

Combine vinegar, oil and other ingredients in a sealed jar and give it a vigorous shake. Pour over chopped cabbage and toss. Let sit in fridge for two hours or longer (Overnight if you can resist). Toss again before serving.

This will juice up quite a bit so you can use a slotted spoon to serve if you wish.
