I like, but I like the all black version better. I no like shiny.
Good find there airborne. I have been looking for a sturdier survival knife for the BOB. I have some decent ones but the versions they strap to an aviators vest is usually a tad smaller and lighter than I like.
I have a good benchmade and a couple less good knives at the moment

I like that Benchmade. I've wanted that Fallkniven for awhile.

I have this as my go to hunting/zombie/end of the world knife.  So yeah it just sits in the safe and looks pretty.   It's made up by where my dad lives in MI. I actually have several bark rivers because they are really well built knives.  And I like supporting local businesses.

I also have a mora that went with me everywhere in the oil field.  Super sharp and held an edge well. We cut a five gallon bucket with it one time and it dulled it a bit but nothing major.

That one's been on my wish list for a few months now. Looks like a great all-around blade.

That is a nice knife.  I've heard of them but never handled one.  VG10 steel?  Is that stainless?

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Looks nice except for the handle being too small imo.

I know a couple guides, and they make fun of me for taking a bag full of knives on a hunt. These guys just use a single pearing knife, sharpening as needed. Allows them to skin out the head for a mount. Basic as it gets.
When I knock something down, I break out gut hooks, skinners, bowies, hatchets, etc. lol
