Tonight we said goodbye.
« on: August 26, 2015, 11:27:02 PM »
So after nearly 16 years of love, we had to say good bye to our dear Carlee.
She had a good go, and the summer was great for her.

In the past month or so, she had really slipped downhill.

So with a heavy heart we have said good bye to our best friend.
Rest in peace my girl.

I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

It's a tough, but correct course of action- remember all the laughs you had with her doing those things that dogs do!  They give us their all while they're here and love us to the extent that animals do-

How do you know who's truly mans best friend?  Lock your wife and your dog in a trunk and see which one licks your face when you open it up!

Peace to you and your wife-

Sam,

Man, that's one that still gets me to this day. I can deal with people but for some reason it's tougher with the dogs for me. Can't watch where the red fern grows, old yeller, marley and me, the list goes on. Take solace in the memories. God bless.

Thanks all.
It's been a rough couple days. More to come still I suspect.

She's definitely in a better place.
We did it for her.

And yeah, don't know why they tear us up so bad.
