NFL anyone?
« on: September 12, 2015, 04:45:41 AM »
Not sure if there are any NFL fans here or not but I am glad to see the season starting. Who do you like? How will your team do this year?

I am a Pats fan and enjoyed last night. Perfect start to the season for them....a win where it counts but also plenty for Belichik to work on with the team. On both sides of the ball. I felt bad for the Steelers somewhat....they are/will be better than what they showed last night. But hey....it's all about how teams play in November and December.

Well I'm glad to hear that! Especially seeing that what the Pats did was far less than what alot of other teams did/have done. You might check yourteamcheats dot com to see some context.

Well.... let me just start by saying, good game. I have moved on from the 1 yard line travesty/tragedy/heartbreak pass call. I have moved on from deflate gate, (had nothing do to with Butler's hands and speed and timing). I will not piss and moan about penalty calls, or bemoan Chancellor for holding out for more cash, as this is not a charity sport. I will call out Lynch and the offensive line, who was attempting to prove that he should have had the ball during that contest last night and failed. C'mon man, against St Louis? Maybe should have attended a few more practices there buddy.

Tate I read after the SB that from the 1 Lynch only got it something like 30% of the time (I think that was the #)....I don't know how much of that is the Defense stiffening expecting the run or what so while I was obviously thrilled with the call (given the outcome) but I did underatand the call at some level. I did see that yesterday and had the same thought though.

It is true how some teams just always match up well against others....or at least the rivalries get everyone fired up. Definitely part of the fun of the NFL. I am hoping for a good fun season.

Seattle will be better with Chancellor back but I wonder if the salary cap has caught up with them....they've lost a lot of guys...Green Bay looks strong....as they always do in Lambeau....well anywhere actually but especially at home.

Playoffs for a while now. It seems the team is coming together finally.
We know some of them. Wife works for one of them. My boy who plays linebacker and full back himself spent the day with the players at a celebrity golf outing we had.
Most of them don't live very far from us.

With the way the rest of the AFC is doing and injuries might be Pats Bengals somewhere in the playoffs. :) But it's early yet for sure....injuries are such a key part....I just want to see guys stay healthy!

With respect to Bengals it is injuries and arrests...
