Upper is a 1/8 so likes heavier bullets and has a SS barrel.

I have a complete lower that I found in the back of the safe and have always wanted a throw down AR, no optics, no fancy furniture.  Just a plain old iron site carry handle rifle.

That's what I had in mind, except with the pinned 14.5 barrel so I don't have to hassle with another stamp.

I saw the CAR15 style muzzle device somewhere. It slipped over a 14.5" barrel and was pinned in place to bring it to 16.1". If I find it I will post the link here for you or PM it to you.
