Spent a few days at sister in-laws place in Idaho. Not used to seeing Green, with water on top.
Now at Spokane waiting to head back to hell.
Oh, and fixed her boat

Nice of you to come up this way and also fix the boat. Hope you enjoyed the time spent. Our summer months are nice but your winter months are too.

You're on the coast, towards Tate, Bob? Or Spokane side? I don't remember
We might be getting a 45 acre chunk of forest here shortly, in the panhandle. Might have to sell the shop to pay for the house build tho. lol

Strung up LEDs around the deck and kids had some friends over swimming. Cranked up the water effects.

Yes we are on the West side of the Cascades. You would be in the more sunny area but colder in the winter. Are you looking at lake waterfront or back a ways? Not that it matters, it is a very nice area. If you sold the shop, would you be moving full time out this way? We lived in Moses Lake for a few years, dryer than here but colder and hotter also. We are west of Seattle across the Puget Sound.

ADDED:If you do sell the shop and move this way, you have my business after warranty

Bob, that piece of land is actually behind the mountain in the lake pic, so no waterfront. The plan is, since the wife is tired of the heat, she will eventually move up there for 3 months a year, while I stay here and make sure the a/c units stay lubricated. :rollseyes

I wanted to stay in state (with a summer place), but even at 8000ft elevation in our mountains, it still hits 90+, and dry as a bone.

Being tortured by the liquid only diet today & watching Carpet installer’s and moving furniture around the house and stuff so they can get to all the places; good Lord the amount of dust that builds up behind things!  Was drove nuts for the better part of an hour all total trying to take care of this squeak in the bedroom floor! Thought  I had it licked then walked on top of the new padding where it was and had to cut an L then through the padding, peeling it back and tried some shims down in the crack with glue, screws and then some screws in between the seam where it was squeaking.  Hoping that when the wood glue finally dries it will be all taken care of.   Now going down to have a sumptuous lunch of Jell-O! I’m sure Nate will post something up that’ll make me hate him a little!

Moving furniture while clearing out the system. Later part is no fun at all.

Reminds me I need to get the raft out this year. Bought a pull float so it should be fun!

Hope they don't find anything that shouldn't be there. Have a couple glasses of bourbon to celebrate the good news once you get home and feeling better.

I gotta be there at 7:15 am.  Now, being an educator, I learned from others mistakes and asked my Dr. for the PILL prep option - swallow 4 pills every 15 mins. for 5 cycles and drink 8oz. water (min.) each time and then 3-5 hrs. before procedure, repeat process for 3 cycles!  So far, easy peasy without any gagging!  :likebutton:

Negative, said he was taking it to some place called Ken’s auto (supposedly Ken is the name of the owner of said establishment too) and have them give the stock one a tune up. Picture reminds you of hauling H around doesn’t it with the rear squatted.......

And no red flag to boot!

I have the slideout on mine and it sticks out to the tailgate, great for those type loads.

Besides being better on the tailgate it supports the load better and less sticks out unsupported so no flag needed.

6ft beds mean you have to be creative

I defiantly had the long bed envy as I loaded it, plus that stupid tool box takes up 3 more feet of that stupid bed.

Or be like the guy next to me at the limber yard who pulled a side off of his flat bed and the fork lift dumped it right on for him.

Or I need Tex to step up with some actual numbers on that 2012-3,4 red sled he has no need for anymore.

Well, the rectal recon went well- 2 small benign polyps removed. In & out quick. There at 7:15 for check-in and at Target grabbing coffee and odds and ends at 10.  Was OUT & awake like someone threw a light switch!  Nurse was a smart-ass which I appreciated - she was the one who ordered the extra large probe and 100ft. of cord so they could read my thoughts!  When she passed by after I was dressed with the next victim, I told her I left her watch on the counter in the washroom!

Must say that AFTER they get you in the room to do the procedure it’s a piece of cake- final humiliation is being wheeled out by a tiny girl in a wheelchair wide enough for a 600lb patient. That sucker scraped the side of the exit door!

Thanks for the prayers gents!

Dave, really think hard about that OK. Where can you be after you finish school compared to where you will be if you don't. Not saying construction doesn't have good opportunities but a degree can really open some doors for you. You already have a bunch of time invested to just kick it to the curb.

Sorry to hear of the yearly necessity - might I recommend you ask your Dr. to prescribe the pill form of preparation?  Horse pills, but as long as you chase with plenty of water, way more pleasant then drinking the goup - my wife cried foul since she had the goup and said my route was WAY easier!

Mike, what was the exact pill you took?

Dave/Ken, I will likely get rid of it in the next few months.  Plan to clay/polish and wax and replace the windsheild as there is a large impact damage spot and re balance the front tires.

I already have 2 peoples in line and the line will likly get longer, but going rate with all the mods seems to be $43K

If not, then that gives me an excuse to keep it.....
Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

I put my order in for some metal roofing to cover a section of the garage, 14 sheets x 27 ft long, underpayment and screws.  Should get it sometime next week.

That's great...they let you get out of there without paying full price.
