Yes sir. .223, .22, and .357 maximum. I use the scoped 223 for javelina...I love that gun, but I have to send it in to fix the firing pin.

Why you ask?

Yes, I have a couple lever actions as well. As an Indiana deer hunter I was always holding out that they would allow us to use it. They talked about it for years but never passed it. Typical shots are 150 yards & under. We also hunt in a lot of wooded, set aside & brushy areas so it would have been a perfect round. With that said I have been doing my homework on the .458 socom that Oldkoot keeps bringing up. If I decide to buy or build an upper I'll most likely invest in reloading. I was always on the fence on doing that for the 45-70 & never pulled the trigger so to speak.

Sorry fellas... had a laptop failure, I am stuck on my wife's bendy foldy laptop contraption at the moment.

The reason I asked is I ended up with a G1 yesterday....octagon .22 bull, .22mag octagon bull, both 10" as well as a.357 bull. All 3 have glass on them. I have been trying to decide if I should keep it or sell it.... I wondered what your experiences with them are?

Kind of a novelty imo, however w/ that said one of my favorite hand guns is a ruger single six & I think the same of it really. It's fun to throw in my pocket & stroll thru the woods.

I just can't think of a cooler handgun,  and the quality is pretty good, and options are unlimited for barrels, and it's the only pistol I have that can shoot clays at 300yrds, and the g1 is only one that can go from rim fire to centerfire with the twist of the switch  (from the factory ).....
Can you tell I'm a fan?

Yah Ken the G1 is a cool concept and proven design. I might see if it sells, guess I should research what it's worth and go from there. I have the original box/manuals the works, and it's only had a few 100 rounds put through it.

If It doesn't sell I will prolly just shoot it and maybe find a 45/70 barrel for it. I shot it as a 357 today briefly. It's dumb accurate for a handgun.

My cousins uses one in 35 rem for deer. It's pretty accurate as well.
