Time to stock up?
« on: June 15, 2016, 09:26:54 AM »
All this talk about "assault" weapons bans and Clinton destroying the second amendment makes me wonder if it's time to stock up again like back in 1994.

So I ordered 3 Colt LE 6920s this morning.

Prob going to get a case of 30 RD mags and some additional uppers and spare parts.

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

I'm In the same boat, well kind of.
Definitely adding to the chaches as quickly as I can.
Also thinking about 6" PVC...
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

Those pipes and caps are expensive from what I've seen. Is there a cheaper way?

Buy a minivan from the bone yard, roll the windows up, and bury it. :)

I just purchased more ammo which I needed as apparently I visit the range too often. Then I forgot to order 22-250 but I guess I'll get that on the next order because those prairie dogs need decimated.

As far as "stocking up" idk, we'll see the attention span in this country last about 48 hours only......

All these types of events do is sell guns and ammo and make my social media feed a looney mess.   But none the less I want to shoot my box of bowling pins and am all but out of ammo

Sounds like that 8 lbs of powder  you bought was just in time RN. Hope you also have the rest of the components on hand too.

Yeah, other powders and components for other calibers have been easier to come by. Varget has been the most elusive.

I bought five of their complete lowers last year, good quality.  IIRC they were $39 each and I bought them from an FFL so I didn't have to pay the transfer fee.

My ammo shipped out today as well. Then received an email from them that ammo prices are going up shortly as all the wholesalers are running dry due to the increase in demand.
