Someone somewhere when I posted a picture of a pork butt being smoked asked for the recipie so here it goes.  I watched Triple D on food network and Guy Fieri visited a BBQ joint that used these ingredients.  He didn't go into measurements so I eyeballed it and came up with this.

2 cups brown sugar
1 cup paprika
1/4 cup garlic powder
1/4 cup black pepper
1/4 cup cayenne pepper
1/4 cup chili powder
1/4 cup cumin
1/4 cup onion powder
1/4 cup salt ( I don't actually use this as I salt 5-10 hours before applying the rub as salt is the only spice that penetrates)
TBS allspice
TBS poultry seasoning
TBS cinnamon
TBS nutmeg

I apply liberally and then spritz with apple juice several times throughout the cooking process.  Smoke until 165 internal temp and then crutch with foil and then between 195-205 its done when the bone pulls out smoothly and cleanly from the butt.
Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.
