I recently came across this cool plastic folding stock for my take-down stainless Ruger 10-22 rifle

Folding mechanism is pretty stout. I can get no wiggle or play from it open or locked closed

It doesn't just slap closed. The button must be pushed first, then it locks in solidly

Big difference in length of pull. Gun is now akin to a collapsed M4 stock

The front section has one screw and a barrel clamp that holds all that together

This stock makes the back end a pretty compact, packable piece

I opted for two sections of Rail for a flashlight and a cup holder

I think you might as well put the tax stamp paperwork in for a suppressor and a shorter barrel.
So, Bobby...being the calculating trained warrior NCO that you are.  Take the appropriate action, Execute!

Well, let's see if the Trumpster gives us that stuff back. Maybe I won't need the paperwork

So that "button" does that make it legal in JR country?
I was taking my new AR South with me but after JR got done with the what has to be done to transfer stuff I don't know if I want that terrible black thing locked in the back of my truck or not when I go through Calif..

Nate

Push a KIA or Prius into the ditch this winter if the opportunity arises........it'll build character for a suffering millennial! or if you see Donkey Kong in a Jetta expect a wedding in the works

The problem Nate is even though I-5 can be bad snow wise, the other choices are lots worse. I don't want to have to spend a week waiting for a pass to open so I can head out again. I am thinking it will be following along with me somehow.

That screams for a small pelican foam lined case....with a spot for the can.

Don how's the repeatability on the break down and reassembly?  Minute of scumbag (coon) accurate?

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

The fact that you take the thing apart and reassemble it doesn't seem to affect bullet POI at all. Of course the ranges (50 feet) are such that a small change would not affect minute of mouse accuracy.

I did watch a vid where a gentleman fired several 10 round groups, each after taking apart and reassembling, and there was no change to speak of
