These were only $550, which I think is quite a good deal

The tines move and lock in one of many detents with the locking pin to prevent shifting

And they were built in Alabama

I bought a set of forks for a friends tractor, they are amazing, but I paid more than twice what you did and they were probably Chinese pot metal. Look forward to the million and one ways you use the new tools!

Gonna need some serious weights on the back of the tractor with that grapple. Don't want any "I've fallen and I can't get up" moments with a mouth full of cedars.....
That bush hog is weight enough for sure, but the box scraper will be the normal fare, so we'll just have to wait and see

Haha, that small tractor with a grapple gave me a laugh.  You should send that picture back to the manufacturer and complain that you are having trouble lifting logs with it.   Oh to see the look on their face!

That's an excellant idea!!!

hear that Don?
Yea, I did

I can see how this goes:

Me: "Hey that grapple won't pick up anything"

Them: "Why not?"

Me: "I'm sending a pic attached to an email...stand-by..."  ;-))

I can already see the video of grabbing something BIG and nosing it over.

Nix on the fat girl, it wasn't,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

An electric fork lift battery was the first nosing incident with my mf4600.....

Yesterday when unloading the stuff from the semi, I nosed over until ground contact (What??? 45 degrees??)
The pallet was loaded in such a way that I could poke my loader into the back of the truck without the bucket attached, then just hook up to the whole pallet...as in both items

The tractor could lift the assembly maybe an inch at the most, although in retrospect, it was probably dragging a bit.

As I backed out slowly, my plan was to pin the load against the back end of the truck and "Friction" it down to the ground where I'd break it down

Well, that didn't work. As soon as that load had airspace it went straight down with the tractor back end rising the appropriate amount.

I hung onto the steering wheel with a death grip and lowered the loader ricky-tick and the end result was what the pics showed...Mission Complete!
