Just wait for it... :beercheers:
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

two-three-five...??

Possibly an old 101st bird. They had one burn up before that, and got in a 91 or maybe a 92 bird to replace. A one-off build ok'd by congress. Is this that bird, I wonder???

The guard up in Maryland flew a company of them, I never saw nor set foot on those, so I don't know those tail numbers. I have seen most of the other 400+ hooks in the inventory...

first two digits are the year of manufacturer...91 = 1991.

Note that everytime an airframe is re-manufacturered, the fuselage is zero-timed and starts with a new number

This 1991 aircraft was likely a 1966, or 1967 B or C model Chinook before and remanufactured into a D model in 91.

The last 5 are the sequence number. I believe the first two digits of the sequence number stands for a model run, such as these numbers being a "D" model...Late build.

Then the last three digits are the actual build sequence of this airframe. This would have been the 235th "D" model Chinook built or rebuilt in Philadelphia at the Boeing/Vertol plant

He doesn't need mini guns JR, one of us in each fish bowl equals totally unpredictable mini guns with near complete field of fire!
