Progressive Insurance
« on: September 03, 2017, 10:41:16 PM »

When I purchased my motorcycle insurance some years ago, I was appalled to discover USAA had sub contracted Progressive to insure its members motorcycles. I wrote an email to the CEO and purchased an Allstate policy which I kept for a year, then switched to GEICO, where I remain to this day. I'll never knowingly give one cent of my money to a company who fosters anti american and anti-God policies...Never!

Flo and Her Boss
Here is something on The Fake Americans--

Stephanie Courtney, the actress, who plays "Flo" in the
Progressive Insurance TV commercials, gets paid $500,000 per
year.

In case you didn't know.....The "Harley Owners Group,"
the biggest motorcycle club in America, perhaps even in the
world, hasn't found any members that have Progressive Insurance
since word got out about Progressive's communist affiliations.

Progressive's association with George Soros, alone,
should bring chills up your back. Oh, you don't know
who George Soros is?  He financed the
          Obama progressive affiliations.  Progressive Insurance...

Who are they? You've seen and probably smiled at the clever
Progressive Insurance TV commercials.  Well, you're about
to learn the rest of the story..

          Interesting news!!!

PROGRESSIVE AUTO INSURANCE ~ You know their
TV commercials ... The ones featuring the ditsy actress
all dressed in white. What you might not know is that
the Chairman of Progressive is Peter Lewis, one of the
major funders of leftist causes in America.

Between 2001 and 2003, Lewis funneled $15 million to
the ACLU, the group most responsible for destroying
          what's left of America's Judo-Christian heritage. Lewis
          also gave $12.5 million to MoveOn.org   http://moveon..org/
and America Coming Together, two key propaganda arms
          of the socialist left.

His funding for these groups was conditional on
matching contributions from George Soros, the
America-hating socialist who is the chief financier
          of the Obama political machine.

Lewis made a fortune as a result of capitalism, but
now finances a progressive movement that threatens
to destroy the American free enterprise system.

His group is targeting television shows on Fox News.
Peter Lewis is making a fortune off of conservative
Americans (who buy his auto insurance), then he uses
that money to dismantle the very system that made
him wealthy.  He's banking on no one finding out
who he is, so STOP buying Progressive Insurance and pass this
information on to all your friends.

Chairman Lewis' gift helps the ACLU promote their
anti-Christmas agenda such as: Removing nativity
scenes from public property Banning songs such
as Silent Night from schools Refusing to allow students
to write about the Christian aspect of Christmas in
school project Renaming 'Christmas break' to 'Winter
break Refusing to allow a city sponsored Christmas
parade to be called a Christmas parade Not allowing a
Christmas tree in a public school Renaming a
Christmas tree displayed on public property a Holiday tree
In addition to their war on Christmas, the ACLU uses gifts
like that from Chairman Lewis to  Sue states to force them
to legalize homosexual marriage  Force libraries to remove
porn filters from their computers Sue the Boy Scouts to
force them to accept homosexuals as scout leaders Help
legalize child pornography Legalize live sex acts in bars in
Oregon  Protect the 'North American Man-Boy-Love Association'
whose motto is "sex by eight or it is too late"
Censor student-led prayer at graduation Remove "under God"
from the Pledge of Allegiance Remove "In God We Trust" on our
currency
IN HEAVENS NAME STOP FEEDING THESE TRAITORS ?
          PLEASE - CANCEL YOUR POLICIES

Snopes and Truth or Fiction were checked and both verify the

I definitely try to avoid doing business with crazy liberal companies. I think we would all be better off putting our money where our mouth is. I knew about Progressive and am with Geico as well.

I wonder if a sticky of "companies to avoid" (or "companies to support") would make sense? As much as I try to i know i probably miss stuff some times. I would love a place to double check before buying something.

I've had progressive insurance for 12 years now but didn't have a clue about its history. Now that I know, as of Nov. 7, our Progressive Insurance policy will end. I went through Zander Insurance (by way of daveramsey.com) and got quotes from several companies. The end result was thousands of dollars of increased coverages savings of $840/year, and less of our money going to people and agencies I do not support. I went through the auto and homeowners policy line by line because the guy from progressive couldn't believe what I told him it was going to cost. After we were done he simply said "we hate to lose you but we can't compete with that".

My neighbors just had their car repo'd because Progressive didn't put the right kind of full-coverage on the car. I'm a little fuzzy on the details, but something happened and even though they made all their regular monthly payments, some additional lien was placed on the car (additional insurance from the bank??) and I guess that wasn't getting paid, so they came and took it. No communication to our neighbor what-so-ever (that's likely the bank's fault though, not Flo)

They're fighting the ding to their credit, but said screw it on the car -- court case could go on for months. They have 3 kids under 10, so momma needs her mommy-mobile.

Asked her if she would be going with Progressive again -- NOPE!

I'm down in Vancouver, Nate. No white stuff here (yet).

Yeah, sucks for them, but they went from a Explorer to a Yukon Denali and paid cash, so no more car payment and a nicer car (but I may be a little biased toward GM ;) )

What a crummy deal on the car but it sounds like they’re riding in style now.

I got absolutely fed up with progressive over storm damage. They screwed over us twice, then I read a thread on here about their founder. Wish I would’ve changed years ago.
