How many different ways is this wrong?
« on: March 05, 2016, 05:52:26 PM »
I can see many things wrong with this pic (situation). How many can you find?

I'll start: Cat is sitting on a big dog's cage like it doesn't care!

We have a shop dog and cat. When the dog is locked up in the kennel the cats favorite place to be is on top of it. Yes she does terrorize the dog. She also hides when you turn the dog loose.

When I was 8 I got a Shepherd pup. We already had a cat. On the first or second day the pup tried to poke his nose under the wood stove the "meet" the cat. The cat responded with a claws out rake across his nose. Of course the puppy jerked back howling. From then on the cat could do almost anything and our Shepherd wouldn't do anything. He would lay in front of the fire sleeping (his fur so hot I almost couldn't touch it) and the cat would snuggle right in next to him purring away. They got along great.

Other cats? He didn't like them so much  :o and woodchucks? He could kill a woodchuck in about 15 seconds....one bite....shake it like mad....drop it...dead...done. He kept the garden pretty free of woodchucks. But our cat? She could do anything she wanted and he let her.

Our cat often decides he like the largest dog's kennel. He'll just go in there and make himself at home, big dog won't go in there unless I tell him to several times. This cat is de-clawed, but still rules the roost. We've got three dogs, and three cats. The cats are in charge, and the largest actually keeps the dogs in line. When they start screwing up, he often times straightens them out before the wife or I can. He's like our little 1SG (well, 18lbs isn't exactly little, but still).

The main thing I see wrong in this picture is the dog is in a cage... I know a lot of folks use the crate as a training tool, but I can't bear to see my angel behind bars.  Here she is, nodding off at bed time right in the middle of the bed.
