The 30 can handle two qts in depth right? I think we have the 21qt. Plus an older mirro 21qt. Sure are nice to have when processing cases of jars! That 30 will be great addition to your food tool collection!

You are correct and that is 1 of 2 reasons why i saved to get this one.  The other reason is that i dont need a rubber seal for it.

The size and weight is not that big of an issue for me, as i run it on my low pressure burner outside.

And as back ups i still have my 16qt presto and 22 qt mirro (1960ish vintage).

Pressure canner?

Correct jon.  just like anything else canning related, there is a huge back order of these.  At the time i ordered it, it said i would get it 1 nov 20 which was ok since i still had my other 2.  Looking at times now, i have seen statements saying aug 21 already.

Heres info on the canner:

https://allamerican1930.com

And heres where i got mine from:

Cool fact. The Canadair CL-700 that I used to fly had the A-10 CF-34 engines. Same engine but the Air Force was allowed slightly higher EGT than we commercial weenies. Can't imagine. Two of those making 14,400 each on a 75,000 jet( Canadair) and I could climb out with the nose 22 degrees above the horizon. Normal climb out is something like 5 degrees, then back to around 2 degrees

So we picked up a new puppy just before Christmas.

She is now becoming less of a PITA and part of the family. The 3am poop is gone and she’s sleeping till six now so that’s good.

Cute as a button and growin like a weed.

December 20th when we picked Penny up.

Today having a snooze.

Volkswagen door panels remove from the outside of the car

I know have replaced the sticky lock on the rear driver door, the driver door.   First one was neat. Second was simple.

Had to buy a set of Triple Square bits to take the door locks out but all in all not a bad job and it will be nice to be able to leave the Jetta outside without worry now.

We have an SPCA and the regular animal control. I need a puppy to grow with our cats so they all get along.

This is a military town and prison town near the bay area, all I ever see is something I don't want and won't pay a grand for something.

It was in the mid 60's at the Ridge this weekend, great weather. Normal is 20-40 with snow and rain. Very little of either this year.

I am a little confused here. They wanted all these National Guard troops in DC. Then they said oh wait. Most of these guys are white. Most white guys voted for trump. Then they took the ammo away and did background checks on thousands of personnel in one day?

How was wind for you last week Bob? we had 60 knot gusts on Monday night, knocked out power to the island for the better part of 3 days for most. we were back up in 23hrs, took a rogue wave over the bulkhead and trashed my firepit, that was a little sporty!

What I hate is how they focus on people with ammo like they are hoarders or something. I bought when price was good. Was is a couple K here and there,,,,,,,

I heard this from several outlets. I believe Glenn Beck was one. Either him or the local talk show guy in Omaha.

Biden’s transition team has revealed there is a very real fear that members of the national guard who support President Trump might kill Biden during the inauguration so they’ve asked commanders to confiscate all ammo and magazines from the soldiers.

Unregistered ammo?  Wth is that?   No one takes my name when I buy ammo, pay cash.  They don’t even ID in my local store
