That is a good brand for sure. Been around a long time building slide in campers. Looks good from here cept for the slide topper. Those things are good for something I guess but hard to get debris that the wind deposits on the top of the slide off and if you cold weather camp and they ice up then what. I use the blue tarps cousin the white tarp when winter camping laying on top of the slide so I can pull the snow and ice off the roof before pulling in the slide.
Those Lance's are really nice i've heard. That's a nice unit, very similar floorplan to ours actually (Whitehawk 21 DSRB).That Lance has a huge dinette it looks like. Dedicated freezer is awesome too. So much nicer than an "all in one" you find in the smaller RV's.Awesome storage! That black pull out system is amazing! You think that thing will be anywhere's close to 5700 by the time you're done with it? ;D ;D Extra water, fuel, genset, weapons/ammo, all the steel you're bound to add... all heavy items. I wonder a bit about a shy-6k lb unit behind a Toureg... i know it's rated for it... and could pull it... don't know how enjoyable it'd be, esp w/o solid rear axle. Ours is 6500 loaded to the gills, and i didn't like it much behind my 07 Chev 1500... hence, duramax.
