My next (and last pack) will be Kifaru.

I have a couple of these and they’ve been really good too.

That's solid stuff right there.

I did buy the Osprey setup at REI with the 30% off 4th of July sale, but even though I got a great fit out of it, there was no MOLLE. I tried to explain how I normally placed my knife right about here, my lensatic compass over there, and how my med kit was independent and off to my right side...

And I got glassed over eyes.

Nothing in that hippie world of REI gets anything about our military world. Sheep don't need med kits and larger knives I guess. And looking at the civie copies of the military lensatic compass, it has me wondering if any of them know how to do azimuth or back azimuth nav from points???
First time I was introduced to a Kifaru was from an army ranger teaching a combat medic course  that had just got back from the sandbox. He flipped it open and showed us his med kit full of tampons, and I about bust a gut. Then I realized how important tampons are to a med kit.

Porch is all framed in, half the rafters are set as of the end of the day. Should be able to get the rest set tomorrow then blocking Friday is the plan.

3’ overhang to the front or west end of building 18” on other 3 sides.

As I get older I get more creative on hanging long pieces of facia. Strategic placement of scab material help hold it in place and line up thing’s properly. Sorry no pics of that….

When Assad in Syria used chems we didn’t use tactical nukes.

The Wagner group was probably leveraging to get richer. By posturing, Privozhin was able to gain billions in payments to remain “loyal”

Good job Sam.

Channeling my inner Tate..

Have an Aussie wagyu ribeye and a Japanese A-5 wagyu fillet.  Going to sear in the pan with garlic cloves and rosemary using the beef tallow I rendered off the prime brisket last weekend. Finish in the oven to 125

Also making crispy smashed baby potatoes roasted in beef tallow, then tossed in a spice mix with garlic, salt, paprika, cayenne, onion powder, chili powder.

Lastly is yellow and gold cherry tomatoes roasted in olive oil salt an pepper and served with chiffonade of basil.

Praying Im not screwing up the steaks.

Don with those bags you might consider softer leafs if you aren’t going full air ride. More comfortable ride but you have the bags when things get heavy.

I’m back.  To make people hungry

Father’s Day lunch today with my dad and family. Went on at 16:30 off at 06:30. At 235 I thought it might take a bit longer was targeting 16 hours but it will keep in a warmed cooler. It has to rest a minimum of 4 hours so I’m only 90 minutes ahead of schedule.

17.5 Lb prime brisket. And the pan is rendered fat trimming that I’ll store and use for cooking.

I think you are being ounce wise and pound foolish. Save weight somewhere else. Get a good battery and put the second OEM one back in too. It was designed that way for a reason.

My humble opinion, sir.

Oh boy, more water features for Charles to dodge with zero turn!
Ha, you should see me taking the zero turn across the wooden bridge i build over it.  Rear tires hang off about an 1 on both sides.  Zero turns arent known for being easy to keep in a very straight line either.

Charles, twin 36 pipes? That is a large runoff ditch. Do you have plenty of depth to get proper cover over them without digging well beyond the site each direction? Or length enough on top to get the needed cover without making a large speed bump
Should be plenty.  Creek is 6 ft deep and about 8 ft wide

Looking good Dave.

Pressure washed all the flagstone, cleaned out all the gutters, changed oil and trans fluid and filters on the Bus. Filled the bird feeders.

Need to wash the bus and cut a few trees and split some wood for next year.

When the wet weather creek dries up I’ll install the two 36 inch culverts and finally have heavy vehicle access to the back of the property.
