Well, since I am using spray cans as I have no air to use my spray gun that should be par for the course........ ;)Edit: so I sprayed the frame with primer. One tip I should mention, if you're spraying a rectangular tube you always start by spraying the 4 corners of the tube length wise. Once you do that come back & spray the flats length wise. This helps to keep any runs to a minimum. Round tube you're just sol as I know of no good ways to keep runs at bay other than a lot of light coats....
That's a slow turner there
That pump on that 60 gallon tank looks huge. Should fill fast.
Looks nice.... I have a electric unit as well. I have mine plumbed with a unloader valve so I can set it to run continuous. Although my unit will easily run along with most everything I ask of it, sometimes if sandblasting hard with a large nozzle I will set it to continuous so it doesn't have to start and stop. That works out very slick when blasting, and I never see a drop in performance then at the sandblaster. After running my project a year, my only planned change is to plumb the air intake outside...someday.
Don... I might have a a few for sale/trade in a few weeks. I am working a deal now to buy a mans collection in the near future. When I do...before I sale any off I will post them here. And yeah two stage compressors are the way to go for a hobby shop/business. I should always pay someone to sandblast, but the local guy that does it is in jail again.

I haven't found any of those hit and miss engines. Any ideas about how to better look for them? I want to buy one and get it running down on the farm. That thing is just too cool not to own!
BTW, your one thread is about an old sq d pickup you claimed a couple weeks you were gunna start working on again. It's given me a lot of time to ponder how long it would take to hang a bucket of fuel under the front side & by pass all those extra filters etc you put on her....... ;D
That escalated quickly. haha
