Just what the boss needed....more razzing! haha
I'm getting fired again, this time I'm sure of it.
-
Been nice knowin' ya!
-
I did this for Rasimmo....and he's MIA!
-
Been nice knowin' ya!
Should I ban him, or just fire him outright, then spread salt on his old posts?
-
Not MIA, I been on a camper roof. Thanks for throwing me under the bus though. I never been fired before so I reckon I get to see how that feels.

I was talkin' bout Ken! ;-)

^^^ Hey, and there's nuthin' wrong about a nap! :D

I thought I quoted his post where I was mentioned. This was my idea so don't be too hard on him.
-
Guess I'll have to let both of ya go, or else we'll lose too many members!
-
I feel that I have to step in and offer a little support for don. he does after all have quite a few irons in the fire at this moment.
-
by the way, whats wrong with a nap? sounds to me like somebody is jealous because they dont get to take naps. besides don needs his daily W.O.M.A.N. (warrant officers mandatory afternoon nap) in order to keep up with all those youngins around him.
-
You're growing soft Nate....the heat must be getting to you! lol
...and Don started this, I think, on my trailer thread.
...wait, it was Rasimmo! he even admits it! Off of the roof and to the dungeon !!hahahaha
I found proof:

I bet I have that gen runnin' long before someone has his cumminGs puffin smoke!
Quote from Rassimo: "Is there a poll for that? I wanna vote. ;D"
-
oh I am growing soft alright, right around the midsection with all of the Q I have been doin lately.
-
Wow!
Nate is busy sucking up to the boss and Ken is throwing me under the bus. What kind of company am I keeping here?
-
Didn't Don already say he wanted to have a cummins mech look it over before fired it up?

All good folk as far as I can see!

I did, and frankly I was off doing other stuff when all this "Start it up business started. Well I started to get interested in getting it done, and now I want to just shove some fuel in the tank, crank it over and see what happens next. Heck might get another engine repair out of the deal. Big bore...stroker...4-valve head...twins... maybe even weld two 6BT's together just in case I ever need 3,000 ft lbs of torque!
-
Haha. Now that sounds like an engine worthy of D Squared !
-
love the name change.........who ever did it!
-
Detroit did that with the V71 engines. Stuck 2 V8 together to get the V16. No reason it won't work here with a little redneck ingenuity. At least it would be fun to watch.
-
Someone say "redneck"?? I'm here!

I laughed when I seen mention of the poll in Ken's thread. Now here it is...well done!
-
Only 8 votes?
Ken, Ras, you boyz are laggin'
-
I said I was good at camping not campaigning !!
-
Who cares. This stuff is great entertainment.

I'm with you
I voted "Who cares"

I voted the nap option.

I voted the nap option.
Soldiers know how important it is to take advantage of a nap to stay fighting ready all the time!
-
at least 45 minutes a day helps keep the mind sharp and focused.
-
There will be plenty of time to sleep when we're dead.
I've heard that somewhere. lol

I do appreciate a perfectly timed nap.
-
The perfect time for a nap is anytime. Just woke up from one myself. Man I like this recliner.
-
Wait, where is; "all of the above"???
BD, I think they are picking on you a little.

I can handle it!

You may be a lot of things, including being old and somewhat disfigured (thought I was going to say slow didn't you?), but no one can accuse you of not being a good sport.....and that's a fact!! :)

Good sport, but not necessarily not very good at sports ;-))
You callin all those earlier power tool scars, the ones I taped up, disfigurements" I think of them as battle scars, Except the battle was against rust and not Al Qaeda!
-
I prefer to think that if I stop moving someone will kick dirt on me. Or...its harder to hit a moving target....

Two thoughts
First having dirt kicked on ya is not necessarily a bad thing
As far as a moving target, and grunt guys check me on this, but when helicopter people would get into a firefight with haji, the runners, we called them "squirters," always got shot first.
-
"dirt" as in 6 feet under and people piling dirt on me.
Squirter or not, they're harder to hit when moving. Using a 20 or 30mm cannon and FLIR at a 1 miles standoff is kinda not fair....

I know of at least one place where RN will park it and relax. I have seen it with my own eyes.........;D
-
LOL, that's true Nate! I hope to do it again soon. You need to make a trip to Texas! I have a place to put you up.
-
that may come shortly, I am in need of a little break.
-
I suggest the fall when the weather is more tolerable. Firewood, fire pit, some lawn chairs, and a nip of Old No. 7

Do it here and I will provide some KY Bourbon, and maybe some Bailey's...
