For 1100.00 it must have the pink tax applied they keep talking about.Sent from my MAX 10 using Tapatalk

Like to see the ideas on the hoist. Has crossed my mind a few times loading things.
Hitch mount is a good idea, I’ll most likely just use a standard square tube receiver hitch though.

I think Iv seen that kinda deal before to purchase. Pending on lift capacity of the hoist might be easy to just make it taller and plug into the bumper Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Grabbed the flat bed from the yard today, may have broken a couple laws getting it to the shop but we made it w/o issue. I’m going to flip it and chassis saver the bottom side. Will add the bed mounted hoist and fix a couple things prior to painting bottom side but wanted this done before I install it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Getting bottom of bed fitted up for removable 1K# hoist mount. Laid it out and then fitted a piece of 6” channel and 1/4 x 2 angle to give it some rigidity. I’ll finish bumper then flip it back over and fix any other imperfections in the old bed before wire wheeling bottom and painting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Turner, yes but those guys aren’t cheap. I’ll be wire wheeling it. It’s supposed to hit 70 this week so I’ll most likely be moving this outside, flip it and fix top side (dump more dirt off it in process) then flip it back while outside and wheel all of bottom side.

Do you have a rotisserie? You make flipping it sound so easy when I know first hand it is not.
Shawn, sounds like you were a wrecker operator in a past life.

No rotisserie but 20 years in steel shop moving large heavy things and access to a forklift. It isn’t bad at all, with a short log chain and taking my time it rolls over pretty easy. Will try to remember to snap pics next time of rigging etc.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb. I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.
How does she fit?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
With all your attention to detail and precision building, this thing is going to turn out very well. More than just a work truck.
I always use an oak board, my truck frame bumps up an inch or so over wheels so to flatten the frame out I need them. I normally seal the wood hood before install My torch is a victor journeyman FYI
Forgive the dumb question but why out a piece of decomposing organic material between the bed and frame? And what’s wrong with welded on brackets that get bolted to the frame?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
