Well, my after midnight checks have been completed and here is the dumbness that i found.

young soldiers with their WIFE are partying in the barracks at 0245 in the morning, and their wife is not even signed in as a guest to the building.

at least 2 NCO's completely racked out, looking like the picture below

1 soldier just up and left his post to go pick his wife up who works in a bar and give her a ride home

.........................my head hurts just thinking about the fact that these are the future generation of Soldiers in the US Army......#facepalm

Forgive my ignorance, grand master ninja... (love that)

Whats the ramifications of these malfeasances?
Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

Uhh, yeah,  good luck with that.
I'd rather be running electrical through an attic.  Matter of fact that's what I'll be doing in 5.

I worked at the church as a security guard until 2300... Had a bog production..."The 99" and in this day we need some armed security. The Sherriff was cool when I intro'd myself. Told him I was armed, and he said great, at least I'm not alone here!

they can be court martialed and sent to a federal prison as the maximum punishment for sleeping while on guard duty.

don, I hope that your night was as quiet as mine.

So we had this big ol baboon, he was the leader of the tribe. We named him Carl. That's not him above, he was much larger. One day, myself and a couple other dudes, got too deep in the tuskers and decided to put a morale t-shirt on him... 4 days, a JAG inquiry, and multiple counseling sessions later led to a baboon who couldn't get the "good idea fairy" t-shirt off and a handful of grunts nursing open bite wounds and scratches.... one dude, literally got thrown into a coil of c-wire... He was the lucky one! ;)... I would have pictures, but our camera's were confiscated... Sometimes you just get bored...

Here is the wife and I, we had just landed after a little inverted incident with a mig 29... enjoying a couple booze at the officer's pub, apparently confused as to who was taking our picture!

HC that sounds like a much longer to tell story than what you have posted.....

What was the liquor of choice that would make you want to wrestle a baboon?

I love the line when Jester is on their tail and Goose starts yelling " do some of that pilot sh*t, Mav!"

I can almost imagine one of the rangers in the back of Don's helo yelling that at him at some point in the past...

Lots of AA at that time.  I can only imagine.

On a cool note, had dinner with a friend tonight.  His boy just got his Ranger tab.  Talk about a proud papa!

so tonight is going awesome so far.  numerous 18 year olds that have rice burners with the fart can/pissed off bumble bee mufflers, who have been in the field for the last 2 weeks have already been doing the following.

drag racing up and down the streets inbetween the barracks

parking dodge trucks with the enormous ghost trailers on the sidewalks 50 feet from their rooms because they are too lazy to carry their bags from the parking lots

same soldiers from ^^^ trying to run away from me as i catch them coming out of the fire escapes

a 19 year old that was so drunk he could not stand on his own (i think i got plastered from his breath) telling me that he didnt come out of the fire escape door and that he crawls in and out of his window because it makes him feel like a spy.

and this was all before 2000 mountain time.  i am shaking my head just thinking how much fun this is going to be come 0200-0300 when i do checks again.
