Hidden weapons furniture

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

That pistol shelf is probably my favorite... i think especially for an area of the house that isn't by your weapons. i.e. i have a pistol in my nightstand, and shotgun standing in the corner, but in the rare chance i'm in a part of the rest of the house without a gun on my hip, it would be nice to have one closer... especially by the front door, mounted at 5 feet or so and out of the reach of kiddos

normally i see these and am like 'oh, neat' but i seriously am considering buying one of those picture shelf ones...

I sure like the pistol shelf, but I made the mistake of pricing it. Youch. I think I'll try to make one in my free time (in other words, in 20 years).

I like the shelf and curio. Have something very similar for my AR in my LBZ.
