Wilbur, I wish you the best and pray that the Lord will grant you both patience and understanding. If I may offer up a suggestion, try to remember to see yourself through her eyes and her perspective. It has helped me in the past.

Will do Wilbur.  Remember the Lord calls you to lead, but requires you to love her like He loved the church.

I am saddened to hear of your trials.  I hope after twenty five years things would be easier,  Lord please bless you and the wife with another great twenty five.

God created the institution of marriage
Therefore he has the power to heal it to repair all that ailes it and to work in husbands and wives minds. He can bring about needed change
Ask him to show each of you where that change is needed and ask him to remove the barriers that currently are disrupting harmony between you two
Then believe it in your heart and with faith that he will fix it
Give it to him
Do that and the marriage will survive and thrive

Guys....I want to thank each and every one of you. I am a strong believer in prayer working and helping, even if I don't always take my own advice.  :-[ My wife and I have definitely turned a corner. I would say we are mending and in a very positive way. It started late last week, got better Friday and Saturday. I am truly at peace and can see that the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train. Ironically the sermon at Church yesterday was about marriage. Just more of God telling me "I told you so".

Thank you all so much for your prayers and well wishes. I feel like this is turning out very positive and we are all much healthier as a result. If you are in something like this do not hesitate to pray, do not hesitate to ask others for help and do not give up. It is worth it.

Thank you all.

Hang in there. Marital problems are hard to deal with. Unfortunately my first wife and I were unable to over come our problems. It takes 2. It won't work of only one person tries.
