Doesn't surprise me at all, I mean they have video everywhere. They record your car license plate as you drive around. Banks need to report a 10k withdrawl.

They are watching. You may remember that Rush Limbaugh got audited a number of years ago over bank withdrawals. He was saying he always takes out 10 grand at a time. Someone told him they report that so he started taking out 9500 at a time. That threw up red flags. Got an audit.
This was before the Dr shopping fiasco.

I bet he gets audited all the time. Hey, if you have money it is yours to spend as you wish if not illegal.
As for his pain med issue, I understand, I don't condone it and he paid the price with hearing loss.

Car dealerships are also required to report if you pay for your purchase with more than $10k cash.

Does that include buying a car with a check? I got my loan for the truck elsewhere and wrote a $30,000 check on my personal account.

Same thing. At best they just look to see where the funds came from. Legit source, no issue. From your unknown Caymen bank account, look out.
