Title: Prayers needed

A friend of my 19 yo son passed away tonight in a boating accident. They played hockey together and he was a really great happy go lucky kid. What compounds this tragedy is that his older brother died 5 years ago playing varsity football. Now their parents have to go through the unimaginable hell of burying another son. Please pray for them and their family. They are a family of amazing grace and strength and faith. Lord knows they need it more now.

I'm sorry to hear this.

Father God we do not understand your ways some times. We do not understand why children must be taken from us, it seems out of order. But those of faith know there is a higher plan taking place but for some reason the pain is still there. Comfort the family and friends of this young man whom you have taken home. In time give them understanding and closure and allow all that has happened and will happen be for your glory. In the name of Jesus, Amen

Don that is a very nice prayer.....thank you. Thanks to all here, who posted or privately, who have said some prayers for this family. To add insult to injury today is the birthday of the older son who died 5 years ago. I just can't fathom it.
