That’s mighty nice of you to offer Tate, except I don’t think I want to live in Oregon again, especially under the rule of Comrade Brown.

Oh, and the income tax is a big negative.

Congrats Tate. We’re looking to make a change some time as well. Our house value is WAYYY up as well, but so is anything we’d want to buy. Pretty sick of the Portland area at this point.

Started episode 1 of star wars as wendy has never seen any of them.

We have 11 episodes to go.
Episode 1 or 4?  You starting as they were released or chronological order?

Should start with 1… get those terrible ones out of the way before moving onto the classics.

Star Wars, Marvel, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings are regular staples in our house. In fact, every year on or around 7/31 the wife and kids start a Harry Potter marathon because our oldest and Harry share a birthday - 7/31.

And we do Star Wars around May 4th… because May the fourth be with you ;)

That’s just pre-wash. Still have to wash-wash them.

You guys are killing me! Just had 2 bags of popcorn and some key lime pie. Woohoo!

So, finally got a delivery appointment for the 2 AC units, after 2 months. Only one showed up, after I rented the skyjack for this 3 day weekend (not cheap). Urrr

At least it's the one I needed most.
Other one is showing up Tuesday now.
F*#*#*#*$*#"*"
Sounds like me. Ordered a new blower motor for our furnace, supposed to be here today… now showing up Tuesday. Ugh.

Not quite as expensive as renting a skyjack tho.

I cannot pin point, been trying. It is mechanical in the drivetrain for sure. Not a clunk but a definite rattle/clink when braking or turning left.

I thought the E brakes looked good, solid 1/8 all around. I have new pads and rotors, wondering if I should do the calipers too? No slop, no rust, pads about 1/2 warn, no signs of leakage on them or the regular seals.

Maybe I will do those bushing during the lift, you say they are a pain? This; https://youtu.be/hQRbda_PW1M
If you’re gonna have the t-bars disconnected to do the lift, might as well.

I used an airhammer/chisel to press the old ones out of the hangers, then a ball joint press to press the new ones in. One presses toward the front, the other toward the rear.

I didn’t buy the whole hanger/bushing that you would bolt thru the frame after grinding off the old rivets. That probably would have been easier, yes.

JR, can you pinpoint the noise?

I ask because I’ve had an annoying sort of clunk for a couple years now.
Been through everything.
A buddy asked me if I had and said yeah.

On the torsion bar key crossmember ends, there are bushings.
His were shot.
So are mine.

Something to look at if you haven’t.
I just replaced those bushings… what a pain.

You’re almost there Don. I get frustrated and just want to throw the towel in too sometimes. I get it. You’ll get these last few things worked out and it will be good to go.

speaking of ryan, is your dmax taken apart at the moment?
Nope. Back together and has one trip with the camper under its belt, and just picked up the camper for a trip this weekend.

And put the new Bilstein 4600’s under it last night.

I swapped out the stock oil pan for a DMAXStore one without the hump in the bottom that holds about a pint of dirty oil. One darn bolt didn’t want to come out. Luckily it was a through bolt so I can put a longer bolt there with a nut on top because I had to drill it out.

And isn’t it batter?

L-shape or diagonal boards as Don has them used to square the construction site.
I guess I have never had to do any building other then with strings and lasers.

So you set the height and the straight corners from that then?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You string mason line between them to create your footprint and then square diagonally to get it square - moving the strings in/out as necessary.
