I only ever ventured to the double dog dare you level once. Kennedy was president. Seems, if I remember correctly, when I was a youte my friend double dared me to shimmy out on this limb of a sassafras tree overhanging an excavation in the gravel pit. The drop was ah, maybe 25-30 feet. The branch gave way, as fate would have it, and, branch in hand I cleared most of the embankment only banging off things long enough to break bones.I walked home carrying my broken arm which was like boken and floppin'My neighbor, Mrs Greenfield saw me walking down the street and came out running. "Donald, Donald, you're arm is broken" "I know, have to go tell mom, the branch broke that Mark double dared me to climb out on."So, checked that block, there'll be no more...

Maybe you can fab up a couple hinges and top fasteners allowing the same thing.
