I'm sorry JR

Moms are so hard to lose

Her leaving leaves a hollow space, part of our growing older and wiser.

I miss mine, I hope you get through the next week or two OK.

Blessings, prayers

Gave this to the care home then told all her neighbors.

JR - sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother.  Being off the internet for the past 10 days and just seeing this now.  The depth of your loss cannot be filled, only softened by memories and time.  Prayers for you and your family - give thanks to God in all things, even adversity; he is faithful and a rock to lean on.

Mom has been in hospital all week again. Things are not looking very good at moment. Will know tomorrow as they are doing more tests now. Wife being a nurse has helped being 18 hours away, she can ask correct questions to get answers. Any prayers for Karen would be appreciated.

Well, they released her yesterday on 2 liters of oxygen. Cardiologist & pulmonologist are pointing their egos at each other and reality is no one knows what’s going on with her. So not good really, the oxygen is a bandaid.....

We’ll see, cardiologist said they may perform and outpatient cath. If they do I’ll go back for that until then in hold pattern. Thanks

So flyin back to Indiana again tomorrow. Mom has right side heart failure and as such they are doing a right side heart cath Thursday morning. They believe she has pulmonary hypertension, long short of it for her age 70 that’s not a good prognosis. So any prayers are welcome, some prayers for my attitude might be helpful too as this traveling to Indiana for sick parents is wearing on me. Maybe a swift kick in my rear would be a better option..... thanks

Thanks for prayers, procedure went well. Surgeon came in and said she has moderate pulmonary hypertension 55/20 in right side of heart. Arteries look like a 15 year old and left side pressures are all good. Gets to go home tonight if things go as planned and visit with pulmonologist again next.

Long ago I cut ties with a toxic sibling,  news of a possible marital issue has brought her back into within eat shot of me.
While it may be selfish I wish her to remain distant from my personal family.  While I struggle praying for her wellbeing I know you guys can aid me in it.    The better her personal family is the better mine will be.
My mother will carry the load but should no have to.
Thank you guys

Praying for you now

All: Praying for God's blessings and protection for everyone here

Tex,
Praying ahead of the Knee surgery. After two, I know a little bit about what your recovery is going to be like. I wouldn't plan for much activity at all. Maybe you will be surprised and be able to move about.
