Why not loose the air bags and install the timbren bump stops.  Iv yet to try them but haven’t heard a single bad about them.

There is also a cup adaptor that allows the air bag to float.  I believe Don has had experience with them.  I’ll look for a link

Daystar, Air Bag Cradle designed for full suspension travel, Fits All 6" diameter convoluted Air Bags, fits any full size of half ton truck, 2/4WD, KU09140BK, Made in America, Black https://a.co/d/8VZ2CUD

That would eliminate the need for a space and no possible way of over extending them

I got some new foe work boots today!! Love these Georgia boots. Cheap considering, two years from my last pair and honestly they look like real boots as long as you have pants on.
Make it nice to bang gears in the truck and easy to slip off after the work day

I think the keeping of the bike is a good idea.

That talon would make great fun for neighbors who already think your to rowdy for the area.  Add a street legal kit for it then the most obnoxious exhaust system you can and use it to pick up the mail lol

Back to the wheel conversation.

You want wider wheels, you want taller tires.

Lift or level since you ordered stairs to get in and out.

Guess I’m not sure what type of wheel you are after?

I'm not going to a bead lock, Dave

This is a street tow/travel truck.

Just something that would widen the track a little and look good. And maybe I just keep the stock wheel and change out the LBGT tires.
(Firestone Trans-Force)
Seriously, how did Duane and I end up with LBGT tires?
I think the label on the grill or tailgate answers that question lol

Finally, I need a project outlet vehicle. My Jeep is for simple bolt-ons, and I AM NOT going to do anything major to the Ram. But should someone drop a 540 BB Chevy on my doorstep, well, I think I'd find a way to slip it in between the fender wells.

Well.

Gonna get fired now too…

That brown truck will drop any package in your driveway.
Just sayin’.
I was more along the 596 lines but Charles does like to go big.
Texas thing I suppose.

I haven’t burned through clear or paint in so many years, unintentionally that is.

I need to make a few phone calls about what the best product for this PPF is.  The polish seems to clean it up nice but I’m not sure if or how the ceramic will react to it.

Now take for instance the 00-08 Silverado window trim.  That plastic came from the factory with a mat finish. You could polish that from the mat finish to a shine similar to headlights. But for the most often times the textured plastics are rough enough to leave the residue like on that Toyota fender flare.  A good pit of tooth brush n wd 40 can remove it but it’s a PIA that some simple tape helps you avoid

Why the tape Dave?
Waxes and polished don’t play well with plastics. Often times the wax will haze or leave white marks all over the plastic
Point in case, not all products do it but most do

Washed the truck this eve and winter has taken its toll on my water beading action from the ceramic coat.  So washed and dried.  I pulled the masking tape out and going to use the fine finish polish then re apply the Meguiars ceramic two step.

Did a service on the Toyhauler Rv generator today.  Previous owner said he had done it and I didn’t have tools to double check.  But looks like it was long over due for a service

Fresh synthetic oil, new plugs, more fuel filter and oil filter

These were pretty bad

Not a bad service to do actually fairly simple.  But she purrs nice and quiet now.

I changed oil in three dirt bikes and found one brand new bike as of last year, had a very poor air filter

I picked up the toy hauler from the RV store, new roof, second AC unit and a leaking grey tank drain valve all fixed, 2 new 6v interstate batteries for $130 each to power the things.

Then dinner and drinks with the wife then a drive up the mt.
Seen a fun rock wall

Not 100% sure what’s going on but it looks horrible

In my humble opinion, as the guy who is not writing the check, I would stick with Mopar. Everything just fits together and works and resale value will probably be higher.

Iv wanted to build a box on drawer slide rails that sits on top of the bed cap edge of the shell.  So you can roll it forward or back, lock in place, up off the ground so you can use the whole bed.

Never got that far though

I did a little swapping/upgrading today
What am I looking at?

So you had a last gen D-max LP5...Is this something different?

I took off the diamondback tonneau cover and put an ARE canopy on it.

Now I just need help figuring out some sort of tool, strap, hitch stuff storage so it's not in the way.
I sure did love a truck shell.  Just a pia to store or take off and heaven help me to remove one for a long bed on my own.

What do you mean hitch storage? Like a metal rack to go in your receiver

28’ which is longest tilt deck they make in that model. 14’ of tilt and I ordered it last November and picked it up right after first of year. Hauled a decent load north with it once. Bought it solely to move shop. 17k
I guess I missed the gooseneck portion of it.  Looks like a real nice low set up.
