Wrap the house, install tape on sides n bottom, install window with caulk under the flange, then window tape across top, spray foam inside, we used standard outdoor screws to hand them.  I have used staples as well

Well just to add insult to being late to work today, I caught my trash can at the street on the way out,

The good news is I have a dent repair guy who says $200 maybe less to fix
The PPF did 100% protect my paint thankfully. So I should be relatively relaxed about how big of a jack ass I am.

Took some adhesive remover and the paint still looks perfect just with some extra anti radar shape to it

You might repair a door on the main house one of these days and be able to use it.
Also works as booby trap for the HOA president, peal it and wrap around his head?

I found Amazon a cheap place to order Dog tags, I then ordered a few “Mixed” “diesel”, “clear” tags then used some small 1/8” wire and cable crimps to permanently attach to my gas cans for the atv, dirtbikes, mowers. It made for an easy way to identify what’s in what, kids can read what’s on each can and I don’t mix or cross cans when using them for three different machines all using different fuel

I tuned into it on X and enjoyed listening

The recap of the other “debate” or children fighting over the front seat of the car more like anyway

I wasn’t impressed with that show at all.  I wish Florida gov  Ron DeSantis would do a little more outreach and be a bit move productive with his audience. He’s the star player of the basketball team that won’t cheer on his team or take the winning shot

Dave. A buddy of mine with a Ford was re-gening all the time too.
He started running an additive…that eluded me at the moment.

I want to say power service grey jug but not sure.
He now is more like 7-800 miles I think.
That sounds real nice!! If you would follow up with him and ask what it was for sure.  I do put the amsoil fuel stuff in but it hasn’t changed anything as far as my regen

From what research I have read on the china heaters: the 5k vs 8k are one n the same unit.

Check your Facebook and I’ll send you a link there to a Chinese diesel heater group with lots of info and purchase info

Can you mount a hard panel to the roof of that tent deal?

Thanks Dave. I just ordered a diesel heater that the Overland group folks use with great success...Only $199!
I am going to mount a flexy 175-watt solar panel to the roof with double-sided trim tape. That's what others do. The panel has been ordered, a Renology 175W flexible panel at 6.2 pounds...Still being weight conscious!
Well what is it?

We call the ol blu stake and if it’s not marked our guys dig it right up.  Iv seen gas lines, fiber lines, lots of cable for tv and older abandoned phone lines. Never hit a house line via a hole.

I did stick a 1/2” drill bit into the middle of all three of those cables coming into the house when I lived in Tooele.   It started a fire, toasted my dewalt drill, scared the chit out of me.  And finaly killed the house breaker outside.  The neighbor power guy helped me patch it all up after I used a hammer saw to rip the wall out.

I put a cabinet over the hole and a note on the back of the inside of the cabinet lol sold the house never looked back

It would be interesting to see real world numbers. You pulled it with the burb which was a boat anchor in its own right.
Not sure if ya pulled it with your 12’ Duramax.  Which would make that trailer all but non existent

Washed after the weeks rainstorms that delivered almost three inches of rain to our valley.

So far 10959 miles on the truck, MPG is going up a little bit every couple Of 1k miles I drive it.

Seems I’m due for another oil change, I figure I’ll switch over to amsoil and du fuel filters at the same time.

The banks Idash is still useful, the disturbing part is reading how often my truck keeps regen happening.

Seems I avg about every 400 miles or so. I know it doesn’t see much freeway day to day as the commute to work is only 3 miles and back. But why park the nice ac vehicle when the other car AC sucks

The dash camera me and Flyinhawaiian968 installed seems to continue to work great, thankfully nothing captured is worth sharing. The suction cup has fallen off the windshield twice over the duration of ownership.

The Bulletpoint dash mount has its issues in my opinion. In order to get a phone or screen to not jiggle down the road I have had to rest the arm on the dash.
In order to fix the issue I pulled the 3m tape and used small 4mm screws to bolt it to the plastic tray. It helped a squeak but not fix the jiggle on my phone.

The wireless mag charger seems to work well as far as mag strength and charge speed. It been hardwired to the power plug we put inside the upper glove box. No battery drain issues with such a small draw on the system. Extended parking hasn’t been explored yet.

Rear window still drips ever slightly but not enough I want the dealership to fuk up my interior to fix it.

Tires and icon level kit are still on my list.
Need to order the banks exhaust now that has been released for the DRW truck.

Otherwise very happy with the simple modification I have made.

Now the wife wants a house in Carmel…..highly unlikely

Found out Friday that Damien my stepson will have another skin graft surgery this coming Wednesday. Only about 50% of the last skin graft took. Kind of in a circle he is depressed about having another skin graft so he isn't eating so he isn't getting the protein that he needs to eat to get the grafts to heal.

Try using a callus stone to scrub your hands

Something like this is what I use.

Maryton Foot Pumice Stone for Feet Hard Skin Callus Remover and Scrubber (Pack of 4) (Blue) https://a.co/d/77JOK09

Just like sand paper but works wonders on your hands and paint or epoxy
