I have a Yeti 45 camping and a Canyon 22 for drinks. The biggest thing you have to do to any of the high end coolers is precool them for a day or so before use, I just throw a couple frozen milk jugs in. I recently used my yeti on a 4 wheeler trip to keep food. Precooled Wednesday- Thursday. I had 15 frozen water bottles I used to keep cool instead of using ice. In 95 degree Texas heat the cooler never got above 40 degrees and on sunday night I still couldn't drink any of the water because they were all still frozen. Any of the good coolers work, The only reason I have a Yeti is because I won it. If I was to buy one right now It would be a Cabelas brand one. http://www.fieldandstream.com/articles/fishing/2016/03/ice-chest-throwdown-12-top-end-coolers-ranked-and-reviewed

We're screwed unless things turn ugly and the tables turn back towards patriotism, morals and self-reliance.
Some friends and I were just talking about this the other night. We all came to an agreement that it's going to take a war to get back to the way America is supposed to be. Sent from my XT1096 using Tapatalk

Weeds don't grow in raised beds??? Someone needs to tell my plants that....
I just started heirloom tomatoes, squash, cucumber, cilantro and zuchini in my peat pots. waiting to sow the onions directly into the ground and getting my hot pepper and bell pepper started later this week.
yes they do but they are easier to prevent and pull.

Navarro Mills, Texas. It has been a very warm winter here. I think the lowest temp we had was 29 degrees.
That's not far from here. Houston during the week and Crockett on the weekends
I shot a few pigs on a ranch just outside of Crockett a few years ago.

We are tired of pulling weeds so we are going to do raised beds this year for everything but onion, corn, and beans. 12'x16' U shaped. I just need to go get the lumber and fill clean fill dirt sometime this week.

Same with me just a few loaded mags.
All of my ammo stash sits in ammo cans in a closet. I've been thinking about buying a liberty ammo can. I would probably need 2-3 of them ;)

Texasredneck how are you liking that drive shaft?.
My LMM vibrates bad with a heavy load around 60-65. I was looking at that shaft but worried it won't hold up.

Don, I think you will like it. There is a bit of a learning curve to the hold overs and ranging.
I don't think there is a faster way to engage targets at different ranges.

yes sir. I love them, especially the 22 scope. I think I amaze people when I switch from 100 to 200yds and hit a can with a 22lr with 10" barrel.
I wish I would have waited to buy it thought, the new revolution came out a few months after I bought mine.
I haven't had the chance to stretch the legs of the 556 yet. It is dead on at 200yds. I have no doubt its on farther out.

Welcome to the forum.
I have two of your scopes. One of the last generation of 22lr. on my Ruger Charger and a revolution 556 on one of my ARs.

Reminds me of a talk I had with one of my "credit card tactical" friends that has the best of everything gun related.
We were shooting this weekend, out to 200, he has this fancy big name, high dollar rifle with equally good scope. I was shooting way better with my $250 savage .270.
I was trying to make the point to him that you can buy the best, but if you can't spend the time to learn how to use it, its just wasted money.

You might very well be right in sheer numbers... But I did notice during the great gun selloff of '12-13 I regularly seen 30.06 and .270 on shelves

Yea, me too...and I saw that Aim surplus where I purchase my bulk ammo actually was selling off some surplus Korean 30.06 during all that craziness. In fact all I recall seeing was the .06 and that 7.62 X 54 Russian stone age stuff
Got shot at by one of those one day...dammed thing...
and my buddy's co pilot got shot in the butt!
Sorry about your buddy. Funny you say something about the dinosaur 54r, I shot a buddy's mosin this weekend. That gun is terrible. My hats off to all those rusky's during ww2 I wouldn't want to shoot that all day everyday Sent from my XT1096 using Tapatalk

I don't own a 30.06 but I would say its the most available and versatile rifle round in north America. That said I'm a .270 guy

I grew up in a catholic family, went to catholic school, and was married in a catholic church.
That video helps confirm what I have been thinking/feeling about the catholic church. The more I read and discuss the good book with people I know, the more I feel that the teachings of the church is not the teachings of Christ.
It is a war between my thoughts and what I have been taught.
