This came in the mail today. A bit tricky at first, but gets easier once you do it 2 - 3 times.

So give us an example of what you could use this on, or what you were thinking of using it on when you bought it?

here is the link to this tool: https://clamptitetools.com/
basically this is just a tool that you can use to make your own hose (air, liquid) type clamps, lash the end of a rope together, situations where you need or want a lock wire to prevent something from backing out, etc. https://clamptitetools.com/pages/clamptite-clamps
i got it because i have several water hoses that have crappy end connectors on them and wanted to put better ones on but i didnt want that big bulky worm type clamp on them to get in the way. i also have an air hose that the i need to replace an end on and again i didnt want a bulky worm type clamp on it to get in the way, snag on things or cut into other parts of the hose when reeled up.
i have seen many DIY videos on how to make your own version, but i just didnt want to mess with it and bought something a bit more professional. the also have ones that can wrap up clothes hanger type wire for commercial type applications.
