I bet is the post office who dictated the com box.

Bad weld on bad metal.

Well, they’re partly to blame, post master wanted the cbu revenue increase but now denies she ever wanted the cbu. Post master claims it was all our president. President put cbu inside our gate which is against postal rules. It’s a mess and this is my fix to take care of the mail lady whom I appreciate.

That gotta be the worst penetration that you can have to hold two parts together.
Looks like 15-20% at best.

Dang that’s poor.

It literally ripped the weld in half in one spot. I’m not sure how you do that?

Finished up the electrical at the yard light. It’s an auto dusk to dawn unit and I wired in a couple outlets and a switch to turn off the light if / when the better half puts Christmas lights out there on the driveway island.

This post mount setup will get a package pickup shed on top of the short post. Our el hoa presidente decided we needed a community cbu for our mail versus mail boxes at our driveways, dumb and why I dislike her she doesn’t ask for opinions ever.

Being that I have a daily pickup and I don’t want my mail lady to have to get out of her jeep to pickup we decided to build a package shed. I’m sure the el presidente will not approve but rules are rules and it doesn’t say I can’t do this……. lol

I did the same thing to mine. Weld it back together and carry on...

With your torture testing background I can’t say I’m surprised…..
Well...

Congratulations, Matt for delivering the word of God on a daily basis for years now!!

Coming to this thread has become a regular thing for many of us here.
In fact, we have now visited this thread and God's word over 100,000 times

May the glory be to God for he is the very reason we have this thread.

But also, Thanks Matt
