Both bridge and dam are gone. Last picture is that bridge before it washed out.

Got the honda stuck in townhome parking lot in snow drift first thing this morning on way to gym. Came home and bought couple storage items for shop at an online local auction that was ending. Took Baylee’s tj to shop, didn’t get stuck but realized she needed new wipers so bought them and installed them for her. Now working on taxes again

You guys all try to be safe up there. Water is mother natures power, beautiful but deadly.

Ug, don't remind me about taxes. Mine and the estates.

Finally got the camry on the road. Started overheating after the oil pump was done. Checked everything, new thermos, checked the pump. I was stumped. Finally blew out the system and she calmed down, figure was some kind of bubble in the system.

We are not in the hazard area but have had a lot of sideways rain and one thunder storm after another. I can only imagine what things are going to look like in the morning.

Making a run down to the farm Saturday Morning. We will probably have to cut our way in with a chainsaw just to get to the machinery, to come back out and continue to clear.

Congrats Ken. Is that a pay raise?

What’s the back story on the MIL and is she ok?

Your own land, and a big plot is just so good for the soul.

Other than the inner reward I have from serving in the war for so long, it paid for my farm. I owe nothing for it. I do owe Kubota a substantial, albeit, diminishing sum for the little crawler, but that land is all mine. probably a half mile across.

A man ought to own land, it just seems right

Thanks guys, Jon that looks like something out of a movie.. crazy!

Charles, she fell and knocked herself out 2 weeks ago, didn't tell anyone. The whole trip she would forget things 2 minutes later. My wife freaked out when she saw Mil's leg black/blue full length. Had to forcibly take her to ER... especially when my daughter found out. (Dr...gets her residency tonight).

Dave, sure hope you like it.

I stole it off diners, drive ins and dives.  I estimated the amounts from watching them dump it in the bowl.

Baylee turns 17 tomorrow, we took her out tonight to Samples in Longmont, Co. for her birthday. Always a great meal at that place.

So I have been needing a couple organizing items for the shop and had been watching an online local auction house for awhile. As of yesterday I purchased an industrial rack (similar to what HD has in their stores or like Costco) 9’ tall 42” deep and 94” wide x 4 shelves rated at 8k each. I’m going to set this above my current welding / fitting table and may suspend a couple led shop lights from it over the table. Idea is to have storage above table too and may only use a couple of the shelves.

Then I also purchased this 10 ft long beast of a work bench with bamboo top & roller bearing drawer slides which was brand new in the packaging. Currently quite a few things are on my other lighter industrial racks which will get moved into this for permanent storage. Cabinets on ends will house power tool cases etc. Having this table will allow me to utilize the current racks for steel storage some of which is currently taking up valuable floor space.

Nice bench there. My last 2 chests have been from HD.

I found overhead office racks last year, got like 10 of them. They hang off normal shelving hangers, have wire outlets and they lock!

No Dave, not kidding.  I recorded the episode and rewound it and watched it about 100 times as he dumped the ingredients in the bowl.  He was using standard plastic containers so I estimated ratios based on container side.  I think it turned out ok.

Shawn,  Thats a pretty neat bench.  Bamboo top?  That's a welding table upgrade for Don!  What was your source and what did it set you back?

You can see the dam in the upper right corner behind the wing of the plane. Appears that the bridge did not wash out completely after all. BUT. the channel to the left did not exist before. It cut through a private campground residence and bar.

Auction house local, they take consignment so not sure where they came from other than China originally. Definitely not Don approved, I had been looking at HD roll around units but they were roughly half the length and were more money. I may hang some cabinets above this down the road.
