Congrats for sure.

Like the toolbox, I have the same. Sure wish it had a power strip in it.

Tell me about the posters?

Well I have all 3 of the "Dawgfather" posters up there... of course the Dawgfather being Don James. From the early 90s. The others are from the mid to late 90s

I also have this one from 91, but it's not in the shop yet

Couple small updates

Built some lumber racks to organize things a bit

Got my miter saw station built, just need to plumb the dust collection and it'll be done

Got a little cubby built for my sander and pads

Trimmed all windows and doors with 1x4 fir

And, right now I'm working on my permanent work bench. Used the new chisels I got for Father's Day to clean up the lap joints in the legs, I hogged out most of the material with the dado blade on the table saw

Last week my big project was refinishing a crib we got for our little girl. Turned out great. Used a HVLP sprayer for the 4 coats of Polycrylic clear coat, worked awesome for a cheap Harbor Freight machine

Small update, I went ahead and ordered some blast gates and picked up a bunch of PVC to install all the ducting for my big dust collector. Right now I've got dust collection to my miter station, table saw, and a 20' hose for cleanup. Stubbed future drops for planer, jointer, and maybe a downdraft table for sanding.

Oh and my dog is getting huge. 55lbs at 5mos

With my wife, who is due TOMORROW!

Thanks guys. Praying for everything to go smoothly.

Doesn't help that i took a big tumble the other day and mangled a rib pretty bad in my mid back... but i will certainly be able to rally when the baby decides to join us.

Our family friends who are the breeders have also offered to take Mack for a big of a dog vacation while we are at the hospital and bringing the baby home, so he'll be there a week or so.

Well gents, I'm a daddy. Our little girl was born 10/2 at 21:02. 7lbs 5oz. Mama did great, and baby is healthy, happy, and hungry! We decided to come home rather than spend a 2nd night at the hospital.

God is good. We are unbelievably blessed. Best day of my life
