Shop has been slammed with work, people keep dropping stuff off and I’m not even sure of lead times at this point. It’s a “I’ll get to it after X job”. So I was able to fix the upper shock mounts and get them hung. Napa somehow screwed up the bushing order for the 8 rear control arm bushings 5 times, yep had 4 trips to actually get all the correct parts. Of which there were only two items small and large bushings 4 each. So now I can hang the new axle tomorrow for Samantha.

Almost snagged a cj5 for my oldest, just 1500 a half hour away. But to slow.

Was able to get axle hung on control arms and shocks today. So it’s very slowly coming together still. All parts are in the shop just trying to find time.

TJ is road worthy again, did initial gear break in today. Will start driving it tomorrow since excursion is down atm. Sam passed her drivers test and we’re going to camp out at dmv early Monday to see if they’ll take a walk in and issue it. Appointments booked out 3 months, earliest we could book six weeks ago was oct 22......

Lower ratio definitely helped, rear disc brakes are mo better along with the better parking break on the 8.8
