New Table for shop
« on: January 05, 2021, 10:41:16 PM »
So I picked up the table on Sun. Was interesting as the skid we used could only lift 1 end. Ending up using car dollies and then sliding it up onto my trailer on wood strips that would glide on the dirt. The skid was on 2 wheels much of the time.

Got it over to the storage area, will need to rust coat it since it will be left outside for the next few months.

The top is .750, vs the 5/8 it looked like, I like! Looks pretty flat, but it has a end down just a little. Not bad really but getting it in place will tell for sure. Worked out the weight, it is just over 2200lbs.

If they welded on outer perimeter of I beam it will pull that sheet down. I’m guessing that’s why it’s pulled down.

Just one corner from what I can tell for now. It is more stich welded so not a lot of heat.

That table just might be a bit overkill for what you need , but lots better than a cardboard box over a sawhorse.

Me thinks you could have left it on the street...no one gonna be able to run off with it that’s for sure!

Kids today don't know how easy they have it. When I was young, I had to walk 9 feet through shag carpet to change the TV channel.

I would if I had his address!
