I thought about sending in my Benchmade for sharpening, no cost but 5 weeks turn around. Chzz I think I’ll just figure it out myself. Maybe if I had two and swapped them out every few months haha!

They’ve never given me any issues, what’s going on?

When was the last time Oakley was put to the test?  I called about five months ago.  They wouldn’t send me new ear socks because mine were turning to a  gel not rubber

Around here, their warranty varies between retailers, not necessarily Craftsman's fault, but might be. I've been denied a ratchet warranty at a small sears outlet, and my employee was denied a couple broken sockets at a large sears store. (from using an impact).

Ask the wife to get you a Work Sharp sharpener. It works like a charm, and you can bust through a whole set of kitchen knives in about 10 minutes, making the wife happy in return. The Ken Onion version is the nicer model, and you can buy separate attachments. I've tried diamond blocks, rods, etc. and they are junk compared to the "belt sander" design. It's the only tool I have that will effectively sharpen s110v steel (spyderco manic2)which is a bunch harder than my benchmade.

Ken, post a pic of your sharpener. I’m finding two different versions of the Ken Onion....

Maglight. Had a 3c LED model that I let the batteries corrode in. cleaned it all up but couldn't get it to work. for $10 shipping/handling, they sent me a new switch and the updated LED bulb assembly for something that I ruined. Super friendly and very helpful with cleaning instructions.

OK-

DD (Don Directive)

Definition: A directive I give on MY WEBSITE that no one pays any attention to

When you get a company you like, add it to post number one...Just modify it each time (Can you all do that??)

Shawn,

I changed your post all up, could become topic sticky when the boyz weigh in with the companies they like and why...And the thing grows bigger

I wouldn’t open the mod abilities to everyone......very tempting to be able to alter things for ones amusement!

Ken put me on to this, not a precision unit but it’s quick and does a decent job for 90% of tools around the home.

Yeah, it does a decent job & it’s quick so like all the kitchen knives which get used for literally everything from opening boxes to carving walking sticks from hickory limbs it’s the right tool.

I have used these neckerchief for the last two months.  They do a pretty good job of keeping sun off of your neck and they are cheap enough that if you loose one it’s no big deal

I have the B&W turn ball and companion fifth wheel hitch and when I had the attachment post cross thread they sent me a new post at no cost.

I bought a tow and stow for the Denali and registered it on line and mentioned I enjoyed their service and product.

Unannounced I received a nice handwritten note and some schwag

B&W is machined in America from steel made in America. They are hq’d in Kansas.

Nice to see the good guys score.

Inevitably they will get more “corporate” since they are beholding to shareholders but hope they keep the edge.
