And this is why having a conservative oriented Supreme court is of utmost importance. THey could strike down such a law as it stands in stark contrast with the constitution.

This is following an eerily familiar pattern. Radicals being backed by outsiders voted in by high density areas of the state that are out of touch with the rest of the state. Exactly like NY and CA wanting to abolish the equal treatment of the flyover states by removing their equal number of senators and abolishing the electoral college
