Title: Man, time is flyin' by!
Post by: Flyin6 on August 10, 2019, 09:32:23 AM
So it's only the 10th of August and both my boys are back in school already!

We played our first football game of the season, Little pre-ranger is playing first string JV (He's only a 9th grader) and he got most of the tackles against the other team. He's a back, plays both defense, his fav, and now carries the ball once in awhile.

The daughters girls are already cheerleaders and are cheering a game in the next county over...

Man where has all the time gone?

Anyone notice how fast time flys by?

Yes sir. Yesterday I was holding my oldest in the crook of my arm the day she was born and now I’m teaching her to drive

Definitely it is, oldest is 8 1/2 and going into 3rd grade in a week. Youngest is 2 1/2.    Don’t know where time has gone.

In retrospect, especially when I was away from home stationed in some crap hole, I would think of home every day. The days would take forever to go by, but then looking back, a year had passed, whole seasons and I wondered where it went.

Living day to day takes time, but all the years in the past went by so fast.

Many of us can relate to this. However I didn’t have kids while in those crap holes. And here we are 5 years later and prepping for our sons first big move, he was only 7mos when we moved from GA to AZ. Now five years later we’re going Oxonian. Crazy! But, if you look through the years I’d bet you could find God in each of them!

I tell ya what.  I remember the  oldest boy at 9 wouldn’t stand up on a bike.  The 4 is all over it and asking to take training wheels off
