And based on the post from the farm, I thinks you's about ready to find out.
I just don't want to wind up missing a digit or limb.  I can sometimes get in a hurry to get results.

Are we smarter as a people of the 21st century?

Here's a thought

Today your owner's manual instructs you not to drink the fluid in your car's battery...

Careful, that high speed moving metal fan blade might chop your fingers off if you decided to stick them in there... My 72 Jeep Wagoneer owners manual included service intervals for brake drum adjustment, point adjustment on the distributor, and instructions on tuning the radio to get the most out of my am/fm combo. My 2016 Malibu suggests bringing it to the dealership or qualified technician for lightbulb changes. You can't make this stuff up.

It is truly sad to see the undoing of a great people in a once proud and great nation

Common sense has left the building and only exists in small enclaves like this place here, in the heart land and is utterly devoid in the high places where people adjudicate our lives.

I struggle with how many people couldn't change a tire if they needed to...

It is indeed very sad how 'stupid' as a society we have become.

And the “tradesmen” will laugh all the way to the bank in the coming years.
