Looks like you got what you wanted out of the redo. Took a little longer but now you are ready for the mall mulch.

So how much was the tune from OPS and was it loaded on a new programmer or EFI?

I like the spax/torx head screws also. Used #2 phillips for years but they always seem to require extra effort and skip all the time.

This uses a nitrogen piston with a 15g brad nail. It nails as fast as you pull the trigger. I am using 1.5 and 2in nails, no problem at all.

Have only recharged the battery twice in 2 years.

Got all the baseboard painted and some of it on too. Used the HF $9.99 HVLP and it worked great. Over the years I have picked up several, they just work and I have spares!

Drilled the wall for the HVAC lines and did a test mount. Sits just right but the line come out in the middle of the wall outside! The ac line was right where it was supposed to be.

The Senco Fusion nailer proved its value again on the baseboards and the door trim. Never missed a beat and does a nice countersink to boot. Wish they would expand the line.

Not sure of the fuzzy pics?

THX Don. It is one of those things you have to go through, tough to explain. Spending what time I can with her without going nutz. My dad went as best as it can get. Went to sleep, never woke up but way to young at 63 not seeing any grand kids.

Now number 2 glowplug is acting up. Ordered an extra this time. Can't see doing them all when 1/2 have been replaced!

A stand for the grinder is fine. Lets you grind funny things and keeps the crud off the bench.

I had one of those brake stands for a vise, hated it. Always seemed to be in the way, moves way easier than it looks (unless you want to move it).

Mount a smaller vise on the table and a bigger vise on a dedicated poll that is solid! You will pry and heat things in it and solid is what you want!

I'm ready for some new treads this summer. All the parts are going on! Besides the pipes I got a wicked wheel also, should be fun.

On your open garage, sure if something did go down there is a large area that things would not be looked for. But legal is better!!

Yep, mine should be in assisted living. He doesn’t want that & I understand so it won’t be pushed yet. He is just tired, the fight has all but left him. That I think is the hardest part to see. At present time he still has the ability to come and go as he pleases. He’s fully aware of the situation getting worse and has acknowledged changes that need to take place and getting people in to help on a regular basis. In his case I don’t see this going on much longer, his health is deteriorating quickly.

Unfortunately, my mom has about given up. It is more us now telling her how much we need her around vs what she says, but she is really loosing it too. Health is really going, not much helps anymore.

Heard a click in the front of the dmax yesterday and found the left front hub was wobbling about an inch. I carry a spare (upper ball too) so it was done in about 1.5 hours. It probably took longer getting tools and putting them away than the actual work. The hub is cheap, the good ones will go on with the lift.

These are still the stock pads and rotor on this thing, 150k. Guess I don't brake that hard!

I did order the PPE setup for mine today and a new turbo wheel. Think I have about $5k in parts to go on the LBZ so I need to get that thread going again!

I see many retailers are using that same tuner you listed above.
Hey, JR

I'll put up that Diesel Ops link next couple days so you can order your parts through them so we can cash in at the site...if it isn't too late.

Great. Maybe a little $$ for the sight and a better running truck for me. Only issue I see is all this is leading to a trans build,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

How did you not have this much difficulty changing manifolds the first time Don?  Was it because of suspension parts being replaced?

I was wondering the same. In fact I should be ordering a set of the PPE for mine tomorrow along with a turbo wheel.

We have oil tree groves here. What a mess when they drip.

So the sewer is the green pipe? Looks like a great time to "run you own" with the soil all fresh up top.

Looks like a good job of spreading it around.

Going zip lining with the boys next weekend, well they get to.

Did a lot more diving in So Cal, just to cold up here. Nice having if you need it too. The little rescue tank is easy to carry anywhere.

Mine has the exact hose as Dons, so much less mess.  Just stick the hose in the 2gallon washer fluid jug fill it up, grab the next and done.   No more catch pan.   I use a bolt in the end of my cleAr hose with a small stainless clamp

I would have rather cut my joints too, these are just to deep/big!

On my garage addition they did not put a joint between the driveway and door. So the foundation was tied to the driveway and now I have a huge crack about a foot from the garage door. I cut it do some stress relieve but damage was done.

If you garage is the norm it will have about a 2-3' slope in it anyway to the main door. Before you pour make sure it is a little thicker if you can with a good steel pattern. My seams are only horizontal and spaced about 4', but I wish I had 1 down the center too. Now I have a crack down the center and junk gets stuck in the seams.

Honestly, run a pipe and know where the ends are. Make sure one end goes towards the sewer and the other in the garage center or corners. Cover and attach later.
