Shame on you two!
So, Bobby...being the calculating trained warrior NCO that you are. Take the appropriate action, Execute!
your standard grunt level CQB is just putting rounds and rounds on scary stuff till it stops scaring you!
Nothing wrong with an XJ. You appear to have some mechanical/welding abilities ( ) and I'd assume the kid can turn a wrench as well so any problems that pop up could be addressed pretty quick. What I'd do assuming I was getting another XJ (which I want to do...) 1. weld some reinforcement plates along the unibody 2. liberally spray wd40 and/or breakfree on pretty much every nut/bolt within eye sight., let it sit for a bit then do it again. 3. Rip the carpeting out and check the floor pans for holes or weld in new floor pans.4. Prepare to replace the plugs/wires, actual oil change and maybe other fluid swap.

We looked at 30 xj’s or so b4 we purchased Baylee’s. I’m not against buying one with a cracked frame either, easy fix with weld on pre cut steel overlays.

OK, good adviceThis is the stuff I'm lookin for!Question: If staying with like a 265/70 or a 285-70 tire size, will the stock diffs live if just used to drive and things like driving along moderate trails (Like on my farm?)
Kind of what I am thinking of if going with stock axles and not the full on HPD60 and LS motor thingEven with the bigger axles, I like this stance height. This or maybe 1" higher with sway bars and GOOD shockage

you don't need a lot of lift to get decent rubber underneath. custom fenders for the win
Um I have had my feelings hurt, I do not like it being suggested that I have a love crush on ford trucks. Please refrain from using such words in written or Verbal communication Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Why do you gotta poke the bear Shawn?
Don, you know those inline 4.)'s can be built with wicked HP......
Had another thought. I drove Baylee’s xj last night, went to put some fuel in it for her. For the record 6 foot 3 Shawn hit his head getting in it. You might wanna check that out before buying one for yourself.

Don, you should be fine. Most people tend to duck when entering a vehicle. ;)Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

On a lifted xj you’re trying to toss your leg / butt up & duck as you move sideways. I realize you’re probably pretty agile dealing with all of H’s stumbling but I’m trying to look out for ol Don here.....
Without looking at them thoroughly, I’d buy the last one. It would go for $5k or higher out here btw
So the latter one has a chrysler 8.25 rear axle and a Dana 35 frontGood...bad??

I’m sure Tate will chime in but 32 or less and I think you’re golden. I’m sure he’ll comment on automatic lockers etc though.
Which is more desirable in these automatic transmission or manual? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
