L5P fuel and oil filter

the AC Delco fuel filter (TP 1015) for the L5P says its 3 micron rating and they cost roughly $24 - $35 depending on where you get them at.

I found this 4 pack on amazon with a 5 micron rating for $41.99 which comes out to $10.49 each. 1-2 micron difference means nothing to me!

the AC Delco oil filter (PF 2232) is roughly $10 at most auto part stores.  i can get them from amazon for $8.99 each with free shipping.

I think Cat filters cost no more than that and would have a substantial capacity (something like 2-3 quarts) so they would add oil to the motor. Secondly they have small micron ratings with huge swept area to prevent bypass in diesel engines constantly subjected to dust.
Start with a Cat filter adapter, then you're done. Wait until Cat has a sale, then buy 2-4 of them and you're covered for a couple years.
