Anyway, my trusty 2 ton picker works fine. Has lifted about everything along with a few stumps in the backyard.
Problem is it doesn't fold quite flat enough to let me open the side gate.
Options were to rebuild the gate to open less????????, no.
Move the jack, not yet.
Modify the jack to fold flatter and make it stronger with bushings, yep!!

So by just extending the upper bracket, adding a sleeve and a new 5/8s bolt we make it better.
Old vs new bracket;

Welded in the bushing after a good cleaning inside and out.

Got her burned in good with my 211 miller and all painted.
Now it folds flat and wobbles a tad less, so I can wobble more :P

Cool project...thanks!
