Title: Deer at the feeder
Post by: TexasRedNeck on August 23, 2015, 07:57:27 AM
Sitting here working on my second cup of joe and watching 5 deer at the feeder about 80 yards off the porch. Can't wait for opening weekend of deer season. Need to get my processing gear ready.

Do you get to hunt with the "can" installed?  If so, two are gonna be laying there while the third wonders, "what's up with them- Mosquitos"?

When I was but a wee lad dad made us cans for our .22's and we sat on pond dams picking off snow geese in wheat fields.

As of two years ago hunting game animals with a suppressor is legal. God bless Texas.

If a tree falls in the forest

and there's no one there to hear it

Shame you have to wait for the season to start. God bless crop damage permits, and landowner privileges, and legal suppressor hunting, AND cross bows. LoL That said my freezers are full so..... probably no fall hunting for me.

Good point Wilbur. Blood stains on the porch might be tough to get out
